Im well aware of that. Still doesn't take away that having multiple of the same hero is broken beyond belief.Originally Posted by Frozty85 Go to original post
They can be annoying, but broken? Not even close.Originally Posted by Goat_of_Vermund Go to original post
I mean even 4 Orochi is pretty broken, yes. Being Kiai-ed in every single encounter. Smoke bombs everywhere, 4 nail bombs wherever you step.Originally Posted by Goat_of_Vermund Go to original post
Multi-stacking any hero in this game is just a clown fest disaster zone.
As a veteran siege player myself, i can say for honor does not have special case where single pick doesn't work. Single pick is basically a necessity for any game to have competitive game play unless the balance is as perfected as a game like starcraft 2 for example.
While it can be annoying to get your favourite hero in single pick, I have suggested a system to 'solve' this by preventing the problem you see in siege where you can insta lock your main character. Split the character selection process into 2 parts. Let people pick their hero and load-out/perks. Check for duplicate picks and randomly select a player out of the duplicate pick of that hero and lock them into their character while sending the losing contestants back to the pick screen. Block out that hero as an option and repeat the process until everyone is picked. You could even add a weight system so the player that lost their 1st pick X amount of times in previous matches gets a little more weighting when randomly selecting a player for the contested hero.
Single pick can absolutely be done with proper UI and MM changes in order to reduce this problem.Originally Posted by Frozty85 Go to original post
Ubi literally just has to care enough. But all they did was slap it in for one mode and took the easy pass on it like they did with reactive voice lines and simply dumped the idea when it met any resistance.
