So basically whats been happening is whenever i target switch to another enemy thats ganking me with an unblockable finisher i am unable to feint it and constantly getting punished for it.

it's either the fact you switched late and the unblockable was already coming out or if not in that case you might've missed the feint timing.
the most frequent appearance of this is when you switch late and you already did the unblockable so let's say you light, then heavy and after a brief second switch to the other guy, the unblockable from my experience will not be feintable thus getting punished for it, now there is a different story with chargeable heavies like shuogki's and hitokiri's, those 2 can change targets while charging up (i think i changed up to 8 targets during hitokiri's charge up)

so my tip is, delay your finisher just incase you switch to your secondary target, so you light switch and then come out with a delayed finisher which in fact is unblockable, unless you delay it too much.
