    Warlords Expansion

Now, this is going to sound like a very silly question to most but I'll deal with those individuals. My question is this. Does one need to purchase the Warlords Expansion in order to lvl up to 40 from 30?

    Thank you.

    Yes.

Players without the expansion will stay at level 30 with an increased gearscore of 515.

Aside from the level cap increase to 40, is Warlords a simple way for UbiSoft to repackage world content from The Division 1 which was set in New York, to use in The Division 2 for a fee?

Sure, Dragon. But I understand Lurch's comment. Frankly, the only thing extra I paid for in Division 1 was the season pass. It's my belief since the game base has taken a nosedive, UbiSoft is going to milk the rest of us out of every penny they can get their hands on.

Yankee its your option to quit playing if you don't like the way the game is going. Nobody is forcing you to do anything.

That's not entirely true and not entirely false.

Warlords takes place across the river near the two bridges as you can see in a lot of the marketing/videos and trailers/gameplay. Which is the exact area the Division 1 map was part of and advertised as pre-release and before the game delay for a year way back. It even shows the area in the original E3 Ubi trailer,

You have lower Manhaten etc etc with the two bridges and where in the trailer it was a DZ to extract loot but ended up being a police station and the first mission on release.

this is the original Division map as pre release.

As you can the two bridges are in that picture and lower Manhatten/Brooklyn as well across the water from the map we had on release and the one big Dark Zone.

There was a lot more to the game and map from what we got sold back then. (something tells me the delay of the game for a year and the consequent changes went from 3 DZ as per picture to one and only one map area instead of manhatten and lower manhatten etyc etc etc.

Notice the Red circles on that map those are the 3 dark zone area's. it actually says Dark Zone on each one, yet it wasn't until Div 2 we got what was advertised .

I always get a laugh to those that enter someone's post and come up with some an assumption of the author's intentions and or what they perceive to the author's true underline meaning. Hell, just read the damn post. You have something you want to add that's productive, great. If you don't, leave. Seems that 99% of peoples comments in here are related to the topic of the post.
