BTW, this is The Division 1 forum. The Division 2 is here: https://forums.ubisoft.com/forumdisp...The-Division-2
I never understand why people bother to post "git gud" posts. I guess it makes them feel better by putting others down. Meh, whatever.
Back to your question...
It certainly is no secret the studio is trying to push people to do things in bot of The Division games. One of the most reviled is the PvPvE areas in both games. There are certainly aspects to the games that require a group. Some because of difficulty, some because of game mechanics. For instance, the Incursions in TD1. Most required simultaneous button presses, protect more than one friendly NPC, etc. So, we are forced to do one of two things. Either forgo the experience and remain solo, or group up to complete it. In TD1, other than for the SHIELD commendations, I said %@#@ to the Dark Zone. But, on a rare occasion (generally during Global Events) I would group up to run incursions. I have ran Stolen Signal and Falcon Lost a LOT because people get in there as a duo and then realize near the end that it takes more players so I answer their chat message for help.
Similarly, I have not found TD2 to be very fun, and quite buggy still. So, I now have ~75 hours in TD2, but I have more than 3,500 hours in TD1.
