    continuous disconnects Again??

I have played the Division 2 for 1159 hours and yesterday I started getting constant continuous disconnects from the clan server. I personally don't notice it but any friends playing with me are driven insane by the constant agent connected agent disconnected messages. I also can't see any of my clan members most of the time, and when I can they show up as offline. If I start a mission within 5 minutes I am no longer the leader and another agent has been made leader, I assume this is from the behind the scenes disconnect.

I have tried the travelling to the DZ fix that doesn't work. I have cleared my game cache and still the same. I have also noticed that since this started, when I press Shift-F2 in game to access the overlay, it can take up to 5 minutes before it opens. I noticed that there is another thread like this that has been closed and it seems they had exactly the same issues.

Is there a fix for this?

no fix, according to Ubisoft support there is no issue for PC and there was only connection issues with XBOX.

can you link the thread that was closed?

I have also got the very same problem as the original post, it started this week, not sure if the servers are getting overloaded due to the amount of new players buying the game for £2. The reason I say this is today it was fairly stable (Mon daytime UK, but as soon as 4pm came, kids home from school etc, it's started the Clan server offline message again. Coincidence? maybe.
I have tried everything my end to sort this, going through my connection/ router, trying vpn, line tests, reinstalling the game etc, nothing my end seems to be the problem. I have over 2500 hrs in the game and I must admit, apart from the odd small bug, it's been okay.... until now.

Whether Ubisoft wants to acknowledge it or not, there are problems in the connection department that need to be investigated. Since the last title update, I have experienced some disconnects. Also have experienced some lag.

Please don't send me the link with the "troubleshooting" steps because the problem is not on my end. I can say that because I have over 30 years experience in IT -- specifically in infrastructure, networking/firewalling, online services availability/reliability, development, self-scaling services in the major clouds, etc. Oh, and I run an enterprise grade firewall that is probably equal in features and reliability and effectiveness as what Ubisoft runs to protect their perimeter -- and which their own internal users can play the game without firewall interfering.

If you send me the link that tells me how to forward ports, I can guarantee it is going to make me lose my sh^&. Because forwarding firewall ports is not needed for this (or any other modern game that is server based and not P2P), and is a really horrible idea for many reasons.

Instead, please take the free advice and investigate on your end. I promise the effort won't be wasted.

Also, the linked discussion is from the beta days, and those discussions are locked. Too much has changed at this point.

BTW, it is not uncommon to see a title update be followed by some instability and disconnects. Sometimes they acknowledge and show transparency, and sometimes they do not and just send out the troubleshooting links. Lack of transparency on service instability is almost never a good thing as it breaks down the trust your customers have developed.

The answer I received from UBI, it's a bit of a joke really as I did tell them I have been playing for over 1100 hours and it just started. Why would the problem be on my side since they loaded the new update??? Not to mention that there are now several of us having the same problem!!!

    Hello Zimwolf72,

Thank you for contacting Ubisoft Support.

I will do my best to help with this issue.

Please understand that your Internet Service Provider (ISP), and the way you are connected
(via wifi or Ethernet cable) also plays a big part in how you experience the game.

For testing purposes, could you please try to connect to the game using an Ethernet cable?

Also can you please make sure to check the FAQ bellow for steps with troubleshooting The Division 2 and fixing possible connectivity issues:

    https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/Faqs/000038816

If, after the steps above the issue persists, please provide us with the following information:

    1. Please set up a Static IP.
You can find how to set it up in the FAQ listed bellow:

    https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/faqs/0...address-for-PC

After you save the Static IP, please send us a screenshot of it.

    2. We would also request a screenshot of the following process.

-Open the command prompt (Windows key + "R" and type "cmd")
-Use the following command "tracert ubisoft.com" (this will trace the route to our website)
-Please provide us a screenshot of the IP's listed after it stops loading.

    3. Another thing that will help further the investigation in your case are the updated files MSInfo and DXDiag,
I would kindly ask you to provide them to us, as the changes you make will show on the files.
You can find the steps to acquire those in the FAQ bellow:

    https://support.ubisoft.com/en-gb/faqs/000021216

    https://support.ubisoft.com/en-gb/faqs/000021185

    4. Also, please provide us with images of the completed port forwarding steps from your router settings, as per the FAQ provided:

    https://support.ubi.com/en-GB/faqs/0...ort-forwarding

After we receive the images, we would be able to further investigate and check if the process has been completed successfully.

Meanwhile, if any further questions arise, or if you have any issues at all, please do not hesitate to contact us again.

    Kind regards,
    Ubi-Ferret

    Raid issues

I have also been experiencing problems with connection in raids I recently upgraded my machine (mobo cpu and ram) the game itself runs beautifully at 50 frames 1080p ( lower frames due to only running gtx 1050) but when I find a raid group once I enter the raid I get disconnected from the server several times if I play the side missions and strong holds it will run flat out for hours. But raid I have no chance, ubi can say all that like it's a problem on my end but I know it's not hope they fix theses issues soon.

They have been wrong about other things, why would this be different. According to my internet, I am running within optimal conditions and yet I have seen lag before. At some point Ubi needs to take a look at their outdated servers.
