    General Discussion - Warlords

(Prior threads seem to be slanted to specific questions...intent is for this to be an open-ended thread....)

The two details I have latched on to from Warlords description are:

    1. 5 main missions and 8 side missions .....so its bigger than an Episode but half the size of the base game ....seems reasonable but $30 is a little steep.

    2. The 1 recalibration per item limit will remain .... this is disappointing. Unless drop rates are massively tweaked, full optimization seems non viable.

Value is always going to be subjective. Someone on fixed income may consider $30 steep, someone with a full time job might not.

Anyhow, you missed that it includes a new open world map, global difficulty, directives, seasonal events, and legendary difficulty. In other words, there will be more things to do beyond the same old missions.

    2. The 1 recalibration per item limit will remain .... this is disappointing. Unless drop rates are massively tweaked, full optimization seems non viable.
One change in Gear 2.0 is that it will be possible for all rolls to be maxed out (aka "God rolls"). How often that will happen remains to be seen of course.

Well I have spare cash and enough of it, but i'm not buying it off the bat i'm going to wait a little until I think it's at a price that I think it's worth it for what you are getting.

Yes I think 30.00 is a little steep to start with, again each and everyone of us is different and have varying price points on what we think is good/value or not.

So i'm on a wait and see, once the DLC/Expansion is out and all becomes crystal clear with all its content to the fullest, then i'll make an informed level headed decision to buy or not to buy or wait till as before it's at a price I think gives value for money.

Its that simple (black and white with me)

It’s a GRW concept clone: Hunt down Lieutenants before you get a crack at the Main Boss. I’m glad it’s a continuation of the narrative but apart from that, it’s probably another day’s worth of content, if that?

Let’s hope the replay-ability of the leveling system and attendant perks will give people a reason to keep playing, but I cannot seem to shake the feeling that the 2 locations will be a detriment to gameplay, especially considering the absence of a NY Dark Zone.....really missed the boat on that one, Devs..........a colossal mistake, really.

Oh and the most important part for me as with any game I buy

    REPLAYABILITY.

how much content it has and how replayable it is.
