Expansion compatibility in different psn account

Hope this is the right thread to ask but if i had bought the main game in psn acc say A, and been using acc say B to play, then now i plan to get the expansion in acc A, can acc B be able to share the expansion?

If not, say i get the expansion on acc B, will the character saved file be compatible?

If it says "One-time license fee for play on account’s designated primary PS4™ system and other PS4™ systems when signed in with that account." in the expansions description, then yes.

I am assuming you have both accounts A & B on one PS4 and that PS4 is set as the primary PS4 for acc A

Acc B should be able to share the expansion just like the main game as long as it is played on acc A primary PS4. Assuming you buy expansion for acc A like the main game.

But if you log into another PS4 as account B you will not be able to play either the main game or expansion if not purchased for acc B too.

Hey thanks for the explanation. I bought the game with year 1 pass in acc A, then played it on acc B, but never get the year 1 pass bonus on acc B, so i guess shared acc wont be able to share the dlc.

I am unsure if the expansion is deem as an dlc or not, the reason why i asking this.

And yes, both acc A and B are played in the same ps4.

Anyone who logs into acc A designated primary PS4 can play any game/expansion bought by acc A as if they bought it too.

But as soon as they log into a PS4 not acc A primary PS4 then they will not be able to play it anymore. Unless they actually bought it too.

I do not think the same applies to Premium Credits Pack or V-Bucks or whatever the game has. Once it is used/given to acc it is gone.

I bought "Fallen Ghosts" expansion for Wildlands and my wife who plays on my account’s designated primary PS4 can play Wildlands and the expansion while logged into her PSN account. And she never bought Wildlands or the Fallen Ghosts expansion.

If it says "Level" you should be good to go. If it says "add-on" like the year 1 pass does, I would be wary.

I was wondering. Did you collect the year one pass stuff on acc A first then try to collect it on acc B? Some things can only be collected once.
