Between the dev blog and what your community is saying, which is more important? Where are your priorities? We're giving you plenty of feedback that the map rotation is a FAILURE. What you did is REMOVE CONTENT WITHOUT CHANGING THE SYSTEM OF HELPING PLAYERS FAMILIARIZE THE MAPS. (emphasis supplied) You didn't do a thing to make it MORE DYNAMIC AND ENJOYABLE. You just REMOVED CONTENT. You keep making new playlists. You made unranked to prepare players for ranked. There are plenty of video tutorials already showing people how to use Terrorist Hunt and Custom Game as a way to familiarize maps. There is no clear-cut justification of explanation on your development team's end why REMOVING CONTENT helps newcomers. You have newcomer playlist but instead of ADDING maps to that playlist, you REMOVE content FROM ANOTHER PLAYLIST.

The Devs took what was a fun map for casual play and turned it into . . . wait for it . . . a giant cube made of smaller cubes! No more hotbreaching the basement, no more opening up the top floor to engage it from the buildings, just a map great for pro-league bomb and crap for everyone else.

Thin about basement with new operators. You take kaid, bandit and its almost impossible to attack there. You cant breach anything. So fun. Take also valkyrie and you can just runout and peak everyone outside. SO FUN!

Welp the map got changed before Kaid came out so there's no way to know for certain how it would have played out with him there. Or maverick. Or any of the ops released in 2019.

It may not have worked for ranked play but they could have at least kept it for casual.

UBI could solve all of this in an instant. All they'd have to do is add a button to the "Multiplayer Settings" for Casual. A box that says "Classic Maps Only", with the ability to turn the option "on" or "off". And as the OP asked - just enable include ALL the classic maps in the Casual rotation. House, Favela, BartlettU, Classic Hereford, ALL of it.

BOOM. Problem solved. The Casual players get exactly what they want. The pro players can still have their arcade box maps. Yes, Siege would be divided into essentially two playing communities. But take a look at the forums. Because of what UBI has been doing with the maps? We're plenty divided already.

Please, UBI. Just restore Casual to what it was, and give us the option of 'Classic Maps Only'. You won't lose one of your precious e-sporters, and you can go right on lavishing them with as much attention and adoration as you please. None of the old maps are 'broken'. Just give the Casual players back everything you've taken away. We'll be on our own servers, having fun with Siege the way it used to be, and we promise we won't bother you anymore.

Sorry, the Pro-League doesn't care about casual. Or classic maps. Better luck with someone other than ubisoft.

I wish we could bring all maps for casual. It is getting boring to play on the maps we have now... By the way, thanks Ubisoft for bringing Iana. She made me comeback to play after retiring for the 2nd time. LOL. Game in my opinion has been better since I stopped on Phantom Sight.

Casual feels like the same two maps as in theme park and outback. Well at least 80% of the time it's either of them two.

I ain't religious in any way, but this is gospel right here.

If the asshats in charge want to create 'curated' playlists – create them in the newcomers section... at least if helping those poor, hapless souls who are apparently no longer capable of learning the game the same way everyone else up till this garbage began has is the true intent behind this crap. Do that and stop withholding content from the players who have been supporting this damned game, playing and enjoying that content (that was stolen away with nothing but a surprise reveal in the patch notes after the fact) since before the game's release and sooomehow managed to learn and enjoy the game without these BRILLIANTLY 'curated' map selections.

Yeah. And I thought that 'familiarizing yourself' with maps and gameplay was what the "Situations" were for. Players who buy Siege invariably don't just jump right into online matches. They go through the Situations first. Then they do some Terrorist Hunts against AI. Then when they feel comfortable enough, they'll graduate by doing 'Article 5' as an intro to online play. THEN they'll start with online matches.

Players in the Casual community have never needed UBI to hold our hands or push us around to 'show us' how to play the game. We can figure that out on our own. They can KEEP their 'map rotation' lists, and just give us back all of the maps, including the original maps.
