    Hey,

Please can you try clearing your Uplay cache.

Close Uplay, go to your cache folder in your Uplay directory and rename your cache folder to something like "cachebackup".

Then see if you still have the issue?

    No luck

OP hasn't replied to this thread, but I'm having the same issue, and I've gone through all the steps he has. My Far Cry 5 started crashing to desktop immediately at launch after I installed nVidia driver 445.75, and I have no way to roll back the driver. The last thing I did was clear the cache in the way the last reply suggested, but it still crashes immediately on launch.

    My specs are:

    Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
    16GB RAM
    NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER

I apologize for the repost from another thread about Anti cheat(which isn't to be found in any folder). About the crashing on startup...Having the Same problem here. Tried EVERYTHING. Going on 8 hours now.. Tried disabling startup programs. Reinstalled game and drivers at least 10 times. Deleted temp files. Deleted and renamed cache. Ran in Admin both Uplay and Far Cry 5. Tried older driver versions. The game use to work for me so I know it's not my computer. I wish there was a way to download an older patch. Any more ideas?
