    Buying from Epic Store....

Hi there. I 'd like to ask you guys a little doubt of mine. I have Div2 Ultimate already and I'd like to get the new Expansion. But I have a discount coupon @ Epic Store (I don't like them, but....) and the game would became a little cheaper for me. If i buy the Warlords of New York Edition (Div2 + Expansion) will I be able to use it with my Ubi account? I mean, Will it activate only the expansion with it or will get me in trouble and make me create a new ubi account?

    Thanks in advance!

I can't answer the question about the Epic store for certain, but you can get a 20% discount from the Ubi store if you have sufficient Ubi club points:

You can only buy the expansion in the location where you bought the original game.

So if you bought Div 2 on Epic your only option is to buy Expansion on Epic
If you bought Div 2 on Uplay Store you can only buy Expansion on Uplay store.

    You can't mix and match.

This is not true, at least, for all the Uplay games bought from the Epic Store. I purchased The Division 2 from them, and the game doesn't require the Epic Launcher to run, only to link and "transfer" (activate) the game on the linked Uplay account. After that, the Epic launcher is not needed anymore (you can uninstall it if you want) and the game can be downloaded from the Uplay servers at any time and be played like any Uplay game, including purchasing more DLC from the Uplay Store (which by the way, it's the opposite behaviour if you buy Uplay games from the Steam Store).

If you bought the game from them, you should be okay. But if not, I'm not sure because the base game won't appear in your Epic account and maybe they won't let you buy it.

Actually I'm thinking about getting the "Warlords of New York Edition" (It's the base game + DLC) for 2 reasons. 1. I think I can't get the DLC without buying the base game from Epic (maybe) and 2. Because my coupon isn't valid for PrePurchases, DLC... etc

So, until 4/3 this version is 45% OFF... and I still have a 10 USD discount with coupon, it's cheaper than 20% from Uplay (and I don't have Upoints anymore, olny 90, spent all of them buying sh*t stuff @ Store... LOL...

And that's the question, I'll have to buy another copy of Division 2 WITH DLC, what will happen then? I'd like to know if maybe I'll get any kind of conflict and won't be able to activate it or it will "merge" with my game...

If it's too complicated, I'll just have the DLC from Ubi.

Can confirm what Angel.Azrael wrote. I bought the Gold edition months ago in Epic and yesterday I bought the New York DLC on UBI, both shows in the UBI launcher without problems.

I can understand that but I'd like to know the opposite...

Buying expansions fromdifferent stores than you have the base game never seems to work so I doubt it.

Yes you can buy the Warlords of New York Edition from epic store and activate it on top of your current game in your Ubi account.
I just did that since I also had a $10 coupon, you can see the expansion shows as owned in store tab of the game in uplay library.
