He got a recovery buff on his heavy finisher and 1 fix on his Offensive Stance but this is clearly not enough.Originally Posted by Armuun_74 Go to original post
A lot of good points imo.Originally Posted by Dunmaglass_ Go to original post
I would also suggest to tackle his kick into cabertoss feint. At the moment this is a cancerous game mechanic that people rely way too often on and is basically all highlander can depend on to work and get some damage in whilst all other options are futile. I loved to mix things up but at this point in time with all the changes in the game and him mostly being untouched he is not much fun anymore to play with.
1. I'd rather have 600ms than lose superior block, but it should be 500ms with superior block, like any other lights with superior block.Changes:
1. DS lights are all enchanced and 500ms. The second one is armored. No longer have superior block.
2. OS lights deal 13 damage, consume a bit less stamina, and they have superior block (turn into a 22 damage unblockable and hyperarmored light if they counter anything). This will be the new main defense in offensive stance.
3. During the feint window, you get the option to softfeint OS heavies into DS heavies (by pressing heavy again). This will turn it into a DS heavy midswing: 300ms slower and not unblockable, but hyperarmored, tracks forward and deals a bit more damage (it is to beat zone optionselects and lights on reaction, as well as rolls).
4. Offensive stance no longer have better dodge recoveries. The Highlander can cancel his recovery's last frames into an offensive stance light. In defensive stance, the hl can cancel a dodge recovery into entering offensive stance.
5. OS heavies deal only 35 damage now to stop 3 hit kills.
6. Health increased to 130, a little stamina buff.
2. Not sure how much damage OS lights should deal, but they are almost unreactable in TG. Buffing its damage + giving superior block seems much. I'd rather not have any of that, but have much less stamina, so I can interrupt enemies smoothly transition into 50/50s
3. I like this idea a lot. I am tired of getting interrupted at the end of my unblockable by simple light attack.
4. I don't like this idea, since it with TG changes to light attack, light attack recovery cancel won't help much with setting up bigger hits, since they will just dodge out of it. I'd rather dodge series of combos and then get confirmed kick.
5. both defensive and offensive should deal equal damage or at least 35+
6. don't care much about health, but stamina issue neeeds to be resolved.
P.S. Nice to see someone else cares about our scottish big guy
I feel like giving his offensive stance lights more space to get spammed is a really bad idea especially if they had superior block. Imagine the black prior superior lights spam but way worse. Also I think generally giving him quality of life like faster DS lights and faster sprint speed and better sprint attack (Maybe a top celtic curse from sprint ?) would make him much better to play.
he definitely needs undodgeable celtic-feints or HA on unblockable heavies. You can be at the end of your mighty unblockable swing only to get interrupted by light attack from a dagger or katana. This is also the reason why fighting berserker and aramusha such a pain as Highlander.bramboforce

From my point of view, a possible buff could be make the first light attack not interruptible, just like it has been done with Worlord's ligths, or make it more fast. Right now it's only good like a superior block and stop.Originally Posted by The_B0G_ Go to original post
