I had this game on Steam, and I get this game on Uplay. For some reason I no longer have this game on Steam and when I click "Play" on Uplay it opens up Steam window and redirects me to store page. I can't play this game. I had this game and now I do not. I feel robbed. I tried unlinking steam account to no avail.
If you purchace game via Steam, so Uplay want Steam to confirm you own a game and you need to have it on both accounts. Btw, doesnt matter if accounts are linked or not, you can freely use different Steam and Uplay accounts every time.
Problem is on Steam side. Try to restore it on Steam support page.
Btw, if you tried to cheat on Uplay by getting key via Steam and then refund it after activation at Uplay, bad news :3
Hello Mirillis - welcome to the Ubisoft Forums!
Do you mean to say that you have two copies of the game that you own, or did you refund the Steam copy, and instead make your purchase from the Ubisoft Store? Can you provide some more clarity on this?
If you do have two copies, you should have two tiles for the game in Uplay PC (provided that both copies are linked to the same Ubisoft Account). It may be a case of you clicking on the wrong tile when trying to launch the Uplay PC version of the game. Please do be aware that you would need to be running both Steam and Uplay at the same time if wanting to play your Steam version of the game.
Loencesha - Thanks for trying to help out! I will correct you on one small thing - you will always need to use the same two linked Steam and Ubisoft accounts if playing a Steam-owned title. By this I mean, it is not possible to play a Steam-owned Ubisoft game while signed into any Ubisoft Account other than the one that the game was tied to in the first place, nor can you use a different Steam Account to the one that owns the game in connection with the Ubisoft Account, as the licenses are unique. I hope this clarifies things![]()
