What community? WHAT COMMUNITY? THE GAME IS DEAD, like, D E A D.

We're here to remind you all how you've been played, lied to and cheated. Yet you still somehow still love your abusive father. Don't know any better I guess.

Very well said Vaetherian! Personally I´ve had it with Ubisoft. They have now firmly made their claim in the group of publishers that are way better at marketing than actually making games. Im not touching another Ubi product until they have shown that they have evolved beyond a sales pitch factory.

you don't deserve anything beyond what was basically promissed. The Y1 pass was mainly for those that wanted early access and the classified missions.

I got my $90 worth from playing the game already, theres far worse money to time ratio's out there.
First Bolded-- What's sad is that you are defending the garbage received and equate it as worth the $90 spent. THAT is whats sad...

Sure they did, if it was advertised as a broken, unbalanced, slow to fix, flat endgame, with 0 replayability mess. Then yes we would have got what was advertised. But, thats not what we paid for...

and to the third bolded -- Any DECENT game company would see how they bent over the people who bought the Y1P or upgraded editions (that included the pass) and include it with the Y1P content.

Yeah, you played yourself by paying for a season pass in which you were clearly told what it would give you. You played yourself by assuming there wouldn't be any paid year 2 content in a live service game in 2020. You really really played yourself if you assume paying for the year 1 season pass entitled you to free stuff in year 2.

Strictly speaking march 3rd is year one.

And No i'm not DEFENDING the $30 price tag of the Y1 pass. It IS overpriced for the little amount of stuff you actually get from it. But you were told BEFORE buying what the pass involved and they have provided now everything stated. The $30 wasn't required to play the game nor did it give anyone who did buy it an unfair advantage that one couldn't get from not getting the Y1 Pass.
First bolded -- Like I said in my previous post. If what was included that the Y1P had "broken, unbalanced, slow to fix, flat with no replayability" then YES we got what was described.

But... thats NOT what was described. and im not trying to be pitch forker by saying this. I expect some bugs, but what I DONT expect is half arsed. and that's exactly what we got, half arsed a bit broken and unbalanced.

thats not to include all the damn AI tweaks they kept doing and undoing. ALL of this crap should have been tested and it clearly wasnt.

and lets be honest, $30 for a season pass is cheap. but $30 for this so called "expansion" is garbage. It SHOULD be the last thing in the Y1P, plain and simple.

and like others have stated... it IS year 1 still.......

But no one expected that Episodes 1, 2 and 3 will so redundant.
Remember Year 1 for the Division 1? It got MASSIVE SUPPORT in the first year.
And that's why we decided to go for Ultimate Edition again - simply expecting the same this time around.

Pick ANY of the specializations and just go hunting in DC.

The people who have NOT bought the Year 1 pass will still have to wait a week to get their hands on Coney Island. And, if they're good enough, maybe farm their way to unlock the specializations.

So, yeah. As a Year 1 pass holder you have access to a bit more content than you think.

And NO, I'm not defending Ubisoft. But at this moment you're simply not looking at all the information available.
I have to agree, I'm one who's fully satified with what I got for my money with the base game + season pass. I still have at least one classified mission to do. I'll admit to feeling the Coney Island missions "felt" short but they're still 30mins of gameplay each in Story Mode.

I was happy to pay £20 for the DLC (remember, use those Uplay points for your 20% discount). People saying the DLC will be "four missions" I don't feel have understood how this is likely to go. Look at Wildlands, which clearly inspired the way this DLC is formatted... sure you had a mini-boss to defeat but getting to him took multiple missions. There are four of these bosses in the DLC plus Keener.

We might not even DEFEAT Keener in the end! Massive may have decided to keep him as the shadowy Boogie-Man for another DLC or even the next game...we don't know.

EDIT - I haven't experienced any major bugs, or downtimes or other issues that have infuriated me really. Sure loot drops are...odd...and in particular the new weapon UIC15 is perplexing...but I've been able to play AND enjoy the game throughout. I can understand players (on other platforms perhaps) who've experienced issues feeling differently from me. That said I did stop playing as it got boring before Episode 3 hit, but then I started playing from the start again just before it was announced and was enjoying it...again.

This is what the year 1 pass offered to players:

The Year 1 Pass includes the following content:
    • 7 Day Early Access to all Year 1 Episodes – Play the narrative content of the episodes early and further immerse yourself into the world of The Division 2.
    • Instant Unlock of 3 New Year 1 Specializations – Play the three additional Specializations immediately as soon as they are released across Year 1 and earn exclusive cosmetic rewards.
    • Exclusive Access to 8 Classified Assignments – Discover more of the story behind the events leading to your arrival in D.C. and receive a unique and exclusive backpack trophy which you can equip for every Classified Assignment you complete.
    • Exclusive Cosmetics – Don the exclusive outfit of Heather Ward, a highly specialized agent and demolitionist, and stay vigilant with the special Scout emote.
    • Additional Bounties – Take down notorious villains of D.C. by completing an additional bounty each week.*
    • Additional Projects – Take the fight to D.C. factions with full force and get additional rewards through an extra daily project for a challenging mission.*

As of yesterday the devs have now fulfilled their obligations to year 1 pass holders. They are therefore completely free to release as much paid content whenever they wish now. Theoretically they could release paid content every day of the week between now and March 15 as they have given pass holders everything they actually paid for. The year 1 pass is quite specific in what it contains and there is no mention of expansion packs of anything else.

Imagine if you walked into a bookshop to buy a best seller. You read the back cover and think hmmm this looks good and buy it. You take it home, read it and then return to the bookshop to inform them that you didn't like the story and demand another book. What do you think the shop would say? I'll tell you.......on your bike.

    @Craig1405

To continue your bookshop analogy I would say that if you came home, opened the book and found out pages were missing, it was full of spelling errors and barely holding together then, yes, you would have a reason to complain and even return the book.

Now, if you happen to like the game and still enjoy it, then nobody can fault you but even Yves Guillemot (CEO Ubisoft) admitted to the failures of their releases in the investor call in October last year. What has made me lose faith is the sorry state of the product and while The Division 2 delivered what was promised it was in an unacceptable state to a large portion of the player base.
