It's not just the AI that's poorly done/implemented. It's obvious the team that created the Wolf Bases doesn't have the foggiest (or if they do; they thre all that out the window, and went the route they did) about base security. Perimeter, interior, investigation of alarms/suspicious sound/activity, physical and dynamic security measures, etc, etc. Both in The Stan and the last time I was in The Sandbox----virtually all of our base (perimeter and internal) towers had a guard, who was ALWAYS under physical observation by at least one other guard/NCO, and everyone had handheld radios for quick emergency comms. The towers all had M249s, M240s, or a PKM with between 800-1200 rounds of belted ammo. Each base had foot and vehicle QRFs of 4-22 personnel with assault rifles, SAWs & nade launchers. Vehicles were from uparmored commercial pick ups up to BTR90s with a 14.5mm HMG! So on and so forth....................sigh!Originally Posted by Virtual-Chris Go to original post
Maybe it'll be tougher in the next game.
Yeah, the lack of security is laughable. Not just the way it's structured as you say, but there's also no security cameras, alarms, imaging, motion sensor, etc. A lot of facilities have these posts around the perimeter which look like motion sensor and imaging security posts... but they don't do anything.Originally Posted by Flanker1Six Go to original post
Yeah I kind of wondered about those and then decided I probably didn't want to know. Likely something else they took away from the game.Originally Posted by Virtual-Chris Go to original post
Off topic you gotta love this. I shot this dude then commandeered the truck. he's sitting there lookin around like he's still alive. must have hit him somewhere special in the brain pan. Gonna see how far I can take him. I'm just laughing my a** off looking at it.

There was reports of a possible zombie plot coming to this game... maybe you hit on a stub.Originally Posted by Steven527 Go to original post![]()
Yeah, that's a good point... why do so many complexes have fences? I guess it could be to keep the wild animals out, but they are hardly a problem.Originally Posted by Stomp0nMybaIls Go to original post
Did yours do this when you got out?Originally Posted by Steven527 Go to original post

But ... if they did that in-game, how would it play? The game could be tougher, I agree, but real-life tough I'm not so sure about that.Originally Posted by Flanker1Six Go to original post
Enemies spawning out of nothing, not realistic.
Enemies ruining towards you like suicidal crazy shooting all the time hoping one of them kills you regardless how many you kill, not realistic.
Grabbing ammo from enemy which then plays a looping animation that makes you keep grabbing ammo even if the ammo is already taken, so you are kind of stuck and game does not respond to other buttons pressed and enemy has plenty of time to kill you, is not realistic.
So much things that are annoying. Or like you want to use the health syringe and game does not respond to your button press and you die.
Game mechanics are awefull in this game.
That is a good point.Originally Posted by AI BLUEFOX Go to original post
But the bases on wildlands were better structured.
At least a little bit.
The thing is, to invade a military base IRL you either do in a noise discipline manner...
Or with intense firepower.
But bases could be improved in a compromise kind of way.
There are so many open places on the fences which are unguarded.
There is no H-barriers to protect the soldiers, just fences (I get that they are expecting almost zero resistance, but you still don't f around taking risks).
Have a couple of dudes in all of these places on the fences that look more like a security breach...
