thats a good way to get killed in nightmare mode!

There is only you in single player, and 4 in coop.

I still prefer stealth - give them my MARINE business card= K11 knife stealth- take down, for the entire area, I have one bud that I trained that is this good.

    ARE YOU?

I will not explain what a real team does!
So are you happy with the current enemy AI response then? Or what are you saying?

Can't prove you wrong but then distraction tactics are useless with the enemy knowing exactly where you are. I think they should use basically what they do now but shorten the time they hunker down.

If I miss a shot at the northern part of a compound and move northeast and take out the patrol that went to my lkl then a new group should be sent to investigate and spread their search around the compound from there. As their numbers are depleted they should pair off.

A few weeks ago the AI seemed to hit almost a sweet spot. They moved more frequently, that's not to say they were aggressive enough. Now although the very first enemies at the point of contact flank, push and suppress, that's where the danger stops. The remaining enemies pose little threat when you can walk behind them and execute them because they're stuck between alert and stand down. But that's still inconsistent also which is why the game is frustrating.

They saw me... I move... They send five or six... I take them out... No one else moves.

God forbid I don't take out the initial responding patrol, they'll stand there forever looking for you or standing over a dead body. (I've got a pic of just that in the bugs thread).

The AI seems like it was pulled from the Division (cover shooter) and placed in BP without the charging suicide bombers or baton wielders

I've never played the Division, but those suicide bombers or baton wielders sound exactly like the shotgun breacher guys in this game.

Anyway, the corollary to what I'm saying is that we may be waiting a life time for them to figure out how to code enemy AI that respond reasonably when they don't know where you are, so maybe just give them the ability to know where you are and deal with it. Justify it by the fact they have great sensors, drones, and perimeter security systems.

    small hint

I am a retired Marine Scout sniper , If you are discovered- FLANK THEM come in from their rear eliminate them. SO simple.

If you ever severed = you will know few country's have real Military training.
This is why they use IED's- we were trained for these - mostly.

Where it gets weird for me is when I snipe a guy and they find the body. Eventually they are all standing around facing different directions, many facing the location I fired from originally...and they stay like that. I have no idea if eventually they will change state as I get bored of waiting so I bait a location. I plant a mine and then snipe a guy from there. Doesn't matter if I hit or miss as long as they notice a shot. They then converge on that spot, the mine kills somebody and shortly thereafter they all decide, "hey all good now, just a random explosion and what may or may not have been a sniper. It is how I deal routinely with a stuck yellow alert state.
