Goes down how much and for how long? Is it a small, temporary drop or does it go down to unplayable FPS permanently until restart?
Your setup is pretty good except for that bottleneck GPU, but I've played this game on an inferior one. Try lowering video settings to the absolute minimum, disabling any options like Vsync, play a match and see if the problem occurs again. If it doesn't, start upping them bit by bit until it does in order to find where you're meant to be. Make sure GPU driver is up to date. Make sure your CPU is within acceptable temperatures during gameplay (you don't want to be above 80C), otherwise it will throttle and slow down everything. Close down any needless background applications that may take up RAM, monitor things in Task Manager and see how much % is taken up from each of your components, if anything hits above 90% it's not meant to be doing that.
You can also mess around with CPU affinity to For Honor from TM again - set the game's priority to ''Low'' and then uncheck one of your CPU cores from ''Set affinity''.
My recent FPS issues were resolved by reinstalling the game. I did this about a week ago. Perhaps a recent game or OS update could be causing the issue? Also, make sure your drivers are up to date.Originally Posted by abdo_Nadi Go to original post
