dude do you have a steam version of the game by chance ?
if so you wanna see this post on the steam forums
as the steam version of the map edit program is goofy for some users and borks the game up bad ..
if you have a steam version ... of FAR CRY 4
Most likey due to the error with the STEAM version of the far cry 4 map edit program
to fix it, yes you will need to edit your system registry and remove a bad Uplay entry that STEAM created, as well as UNINSTALL, then reinstall the Uplay launcher and your FAR CRY 4 game.... note some users have said they do not need to reinstall their FC 4 game .. just get rid of that bad reg entry and reboot and reinstall uplay

(*Note the Uplay only version of FC4,does not have this PROBLEM .only the STEAM version of the game does )

are we supposed to just guess at what your issue may be .. i mean the game runs fine here on more then one system ..in fact it launches fine on 5 of em
