It's been a really long time now I'm having the memory leak issue with For Honor. After a few games the game is starting to freeze and stutter a lot, at some point I get a message that the system is running low on RAM (which isn't) and the game usually crash later. This is just unplayable.
This problem is here since the Season 4. Ubi still haven't fix it and they're even refusing to acknowledge it for some reason, I've tried every solution I could find but nothing seem to work. I've disabled the VSync, added the "VSyncAdaptive=false" line to the options.ini, changed the priority of the game and changed the affinity to untick the last CPU core in the task manager but nothing works. The issue is still ******g there.
How can a company as big as Ubisoft still haven't fixed this issue ? It's here since the ******g season 4 as far as I know you're not a small indie company, you must have the ressources to fix this. This is truly unacceptable.
Hello Tok_Kiwiteamson, I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing this issue. Thank you for listing the steps that you have already taken to try and address it as well. Have you yet verified the game files? Do you run Uplay PC and the game with administrator privileges currently? If not, I'd recommend doing both.
Have you ever submitted a support case with your MSINFO and DXDIAG files attached for further investigation, as well?
EuroDoesUbi - Have you completed our PC troubleshooting guide to try and address these stuttering issues previously? Is there any kind of error message you are seeing when trying to change the affinity of your CPU?
