hello guys, I would like to know your opinion about this hero, because I like a lot like he is design but I think that he is one of the weakest heroes in the game.
I think he is too slow and the hyper armor a little bit inconsistent. what do you think to introduce the hyper armor when he does the heavy feint, kick feint and grab, Because it's very very slow and you can interrupt with everything.
However, I will continue to play with him because is it fun sometimes.
What do you think guys?
I actually have levelled him up to rep 10 yesterday. So I unlocked all the armor pieces and consider him levelled up to the max for a hero I don't main.
He has some good moments, but is a rather complicated hero. I do like his look, but had a lot of trouble playing him regarding the 2 stances.
No matter what a masterful highlander can delete almost anyone. He has A LOT of damage, easy access to unblockables, and amazing feats. In 4v4 he is very powerful for minion clearing, cutting down the commander in breach, and ganks. He does lack couple finer details to be good in 1v1s but he is still a monster in 4v4 when in the hands of a master. The biggest things he needs and should have been given to him like a year ago are 500ms neutral lights and a decrease on how long it takes to feint an attack. Other than that there are more creative suggestions people made for polishing the character but despite that, 500ms lights and better neutral heavy feints are a must
Yes, 4vs4 is good but against goods players, he is always easy parryable. Also when you do a grab at the enemy your allies 75% interrupt the grab.Originally Posted by CanadianSoupMan Go to original post

Horribly flawed from the ground up. Offensive stance is a stupidly good turtle tool but a poor offensive tool. His entire effectiveness kit wise hinges on match ups more so than any other hero. Either it's heavily in his favor (rarely) or heavily in his opponent's favor (nearly always.) His movement speed is far too slow for him to really go anywhere in 4's which kind of like shugoki forces point camping. Very easy (but inconsistent) access to 40 damage is a bit messy.
Next to shinobi I feel like highlander is the hero that needs the biggest amount of changes to salvage. Though I know of top tier HL mains that either think he needs an overhaul or that he only needs numerical/simple adjustments. So I might not be correct.
Honestly I haven't played him this season but from what I saw so far I honestly hate how they need nerfed the OF I always played aggressive and now your able to counter the whole lot is a complete joke now. So sadly they have destroyed my main and put him in D tier 😭. *Oh I never use kick grab also*

- New animations for heavy attacks and zone attacks in defensive form
- faster heavy/light/zone attacks and uninterruptible in defensive form
- Celtic Curse need normal feint, side feint and an undodgable top with a new animation
- Fomorian Kick in offensive form need a better range and tracking
- Sprint attack need to be faster
- Can go in Offensive Form after heavy finisher and every zones attack
- Enhanced light attack in Defensive Form
- nerf damages of Balor's might
- Fomorian Kick softfeint in Balor's might
- More stamina
- Shove or pommel strike in defensive form to have a chance to go in offensive form
- Faster recovery on back dodge in Offensive form
- Better feint recovery on heavy attack in defensive form
- Reduce guardbreak vulnerability of Celtic curse or give a counter guardbreak option
- Fomorian Kick can be feint but keep you in Offensive Form
- Short reflex guard in Offensive Form who cant parry
