I don’t understand why certain cosmetic items and guns require you to grind through the awful PVP side of the game? I just want to get some goggles for my character and I have to waste endless hours trying to get some certification while battling hordes of DMR glitchers? Come on man.
I don't play PvP because I don't enjoy it.
I only need one blueprint to have them all unlocked. To get it, I have to complete a Ghost War mission called Flawless Victory, which sounds like you would have to win a match without losing a round, or kill every enemy in a single round. As I don't play PvP, do you think I'll ever be able to complete this mission?
Additionally, the mission is not available to me at this time. Do I have to complete all the other Ghost War missions to unlock the Flawless Victory mission? If so, no thanks.
I hate it when items are locked behind game modes, simply to encourage players to try them all.
I agree, this is just a way to make you care for it because they know that pvp in GR has nothing going for itself. It's their only bargaining chip to even make you consider it. That speaks volumes how bad it is.Originally Posted by Icetyger4 Go to original post
I understand raid specific items being locked in the raid, but general items should not be locked behind PvP and Raids. I don't have the time to wade through teams of mouthbreathers without mics before I can actually find a team with a chance of beating a raid, then actually grind through the raid. Don't even get me started on trying to navigate the steaming pile of crap that is PvP. Nobody buys GR for the PvP, it is a cold side dish at best. I was a Wildlands fanatic and I really tried to give this game the benefit of the doubt, but at this point I don't think they are able to pull the game back from the abyss. It sucks because I really wanted GRBP to succeed and I was ready and willing to stand by the game and support its expansion financially. I am still holding out hope, but I think I am going to put GRBP away for awhile and check back in at a later date.
