    This is a very special update because after the relentless efforts of different buddies in the forum giving feedback about token events, we are receiving a positive change for token collection events. So, congratulations to everybody who kept insisting (in one way or another) about a grinding loophole in this type of events. If the world was perfect, we’d receive a tie breaking feature as well to avoid the many draws that you can encounter (and since there’s a tweak to PvP matchmaking it is maybe likely that there’s an increase in draws), but who knows maybe we’ll get that in the future.

    I’m also really pleased that one of the possible enhancements to the PvP experience that I mentioned a while back in the feature request sections is going to be released on the next update. Very exited to see the new battlegrounds it will hep to mitigate the staleness a bit, thanks for this team.

    I’m really curious about DKC effect if it’s a restricted fix to his warcry or a general fix for many overlapping warcries. Nice bug fixes, I think many underperforming people won’t feel a constant backlash from unclaimed team war packs, so they’re less likely to give up the game altogether. Kudos on the bug fixes and the new work on the UI, good steps.

    Fixed an issue where the “Chomper” trap would damage the New Kid
    great more SH nerfs....why can you fix this but not the other frustrating bugs

    and more stickyplaster over the cracks , people deranking all over for ladder, its ruining the event... the events are half the problem especially boring trashy single theme ones with rubbish selections of cards on top.
    can we please have the OPTION to play unranked for these events.

    So sick of hearing the whining about more superhero nerfs. The fact that the chomper damaged the NK was a BUG. Anyone who was excitedly using that "feature" was actually abusing a bug that was not the intention of the design of the card. Toolshed is still a very strong fighter, with a very fast charge and a very strong ability. I can understand the frustration of HK, because that was a largely heavy handed nerf, however it was a card that did need balancing. Mosquito was a fighter that could win 1v1 every other fighter, and that is not balanced either. Nerfs on both these cards were seen coming a LONG way away, and Tooldshed's glitch on damaging the NK was always going to be fixed.

    That being said, I have lots of thoughts about this update.

    1. Depending on the validity of the claims from Buck, every one of these updates is superb and has been requested for a LONG time (see my post in general about all the game changing feature requests, and you will actually find a few of these requested AGES ago)
    2. I am very happy with the effort on RL's part to make the game overall more enjoyable and focus less on making it more profitable. Most of the time, these things become overarching anyway.
    3. As glad as I am to see these changes coming, I am still a bit disappointed that they have ignored some of the more vital issues. First of all, they didn't mention fixing the bot problem. Second, they still haven't addressed cards changing locations in hand, and using the wrong card. Third, they didn't mention the problem some users have had with lightning bolt (which may be fixed only by serverside, not sure, but addressing it would be ideal).

    In a perfect world, we would have QOL updates every month, and tons of card buffs with few to none card nerfs. Needless to say, I am really happy to finally get things people have been asking for and asking for and asking for, and it's nice to see RL actually listen for once.

    Thanks for the info Buck. Hope to see more changes like these in the future. Hopefully the deranking issue works out. Be aware you are going to have VERY many angry players who can not find matches (lol)

    I think the matchmaking WOULD effect the bot, Adding additional search parameters, which aims to decrease the amount of “one-sided” matches in most of the ladder. These parameters are a bit more open in Legendary arena compared to silver shields and below. This will cause matchmaking times for derankers to increase substantially and may even prevent them from finding matches.

    the bot doesnt win.... so it wouldn't find matches

    but I have concerns, namely with today... I was running an event deck, forced to run underleveled cards due to scaling and most of the things being useless..... what if you don't win a lot of games due to this, would you then not get any matches either?

    and Mosquito couldn't beat EVERY fighter 1v1 either, my decks had little problem dealing with it. now the theme is ruined,

    This weekend keeps getting better! Thanks for all the updates and fixes for background optimization and background changes during matches, the Legendary arena was becoming a little redundant. So many updates I've been waiting for all in one shot for Monday's release. Amaaazing :>

    can you fix this please. 2 of my games just now:

    I have shelly shooting their NK.. they drop a towlie in the arc of shelly, I hit to use the knockback.... in the time its taken the shelly has, for some reason, turned a full 180 and the charge then is useless...

    a later game, that made me lose.
    get swordsman in play against a line of stuff..... when they are all in range I hit to slice them all...... and he has turned 90 degrees and misses half of them...

    both these instances the cards were facing the RIGHT way when I wanted the ability to go off.

    and speaking of things turning around.... when someone drops rogue token on halfway... why does my swordsman turn around and walk into it when its almost in NK strike range? please stop this happening. I have spread the units for a reason.

    Whining? Abusers? Wow, that’s pretty damn harsh. Ever since release his traps have affected the enemy new kid. It was a feature as far as anyone knew, and reclassifying it as a bug and then removing the ability without prior warning is a straight up nerf. Pretty sure you don’t have any more inside knowledge about design intent than any of us have.

    They once again reduced the power of a card without warning. Take care anyone who is thinking about spending cash on this game!
