I recently got the starter edition for For Honor, and didn't know that along with the three vanguard characters it unlocked the base characters of a faction. I chose the wrong faction by mistake, and now seem to be at a loss. Is there a way to either re pick my faction to unlock the characters I prefer or restart?

Follow this video to change your faction. As for the characters, I believe they will remain unrecruited until you purchase/recruit them. They're super cheap to recruit though, I believe 500 steel per character except for the DLC ones. You can easily do orders and get a lot of steel in Multiplayer.

Note: You can still use the unrecruited characters, however you won't be able to customize them until you own them.

For starter edition the characters are all locked, except the few for the faction you choose, which i didnt know. The rest cost 8000 to unlock instead of 500, and are not playable.

Starter edition is pretty unfair in character price. Better consider buying all included edition on a discount, while practicing with vanguards)
