Performance problems since Vulcan Update | Forums

So, im having performance problems since the last update of the game. This includes freezing for several seconds (without crash) and stuttering all the time. Before the update everything was fine; I already reinstalled the game and the graphics-driver. I'm having a RTX 2070 Super, a R1700x and 16 GB Ram and other more or less high end specs so my setup isn't the problem.

Has anyone had similar issues or heard of a solution?

Same here. Initially I thought it was because my PC is very low end but I even got a new GPU recently and the game has never ran so badly even with my old GPU. Every season the game's performance gets worse but it's been practically unplayable at times recently.

Hello! I'm sorry to read you've both been experiencing some performance issues recently.

Can you both please confirm if you are prompted whether to run Siege normally (DX11) or using Vulkan, and which option you choose? I'd like to know for sure if you're having issues with 1 API in particular.

It was stated in our recent blog that Vulkan's integration may require time to develop and optimise, but performance degradation shouldn't be too severe.
