I'm one of the few that's rather content with what was shown. We're supposed to get new armor each season for the whole year round.
I say this because:

a) They already said more armor is coming in the coming seasons

b) The armor and weapons are being themed to match each season's theme

This means that by the end of the year every hero should have 1-2 brand new sets with 3-4 variations on existing sets. Assuming of course they stick to this seasons pattern ofc.

There were some sets I were not fond of sure. But overall I liked what I saw. I feel like variations in armor wouldn't sting so bad if we were able to select more pieces to swap in and out. As is the torso defines both the chest and the pants (and back piece if there is any.) If we could at the very least break that up I think people would be less upset.

I have a suspicion that new armor that looks good might be part of the 100 levels of the battle pass.

For the characters I main:

-Pk got a cool mask

-Nobushi got more bathrobes, this one is just fancier looking bathrobes that came with another creepy mask, with the default helmet.

-Valkyrie got a default armor set...

-Nuxia got full armor sets was tired of the dancer light armor gear set, face looks a bit better with he helmet. (Wish Nobushi got the same treatment.)

-Tiandi got even more armor this armor looks abit bulkier tho I like it. and a cape.

-Jiang Jun instead of looking like Guan Yu now has a Zhang Fei set. I'm a big Dynasty Warriors fan so I'm really excited about this.

But as a whole on a scale of 1-5

Knights - 4
Samurai - 3
Viking - 1
Wu Lin - 5

Jesus they're all reskins save for Wu Lin. Tiandi's is amazing. Need to see Shaman's.

I think its BS some chars got left off. Why do things for most but not all? Dont understand or agree with it.

Nobishis has about 4 unique amour sets and the rest are recolors, and the devs did the same thing with her new set coming in Y4

There really isn't much there besides some pretty cool helmets here and there. The last batch of new armor had had a lot more to offer, at least for my personal taste.
