Ubi Did it again... Whiteout again? bout time?

Of course like typical ubi fashion. they went and made the battlepass REAL money and not steel, ya its only 10 bucks but i have been with this game since dayyyy 1 and i do not want to see it go down this way so i am officially done with this game until they change there ways and its sad to say because i LOVE this game so very much and am very passionate about it but that is the last straw for me and i believe should be for alot of people until they fix there stuff, and its not like the season pass where people get the content early they are literally putting the battle pass behind a PAY WALL instead of using there in game currency.

Dude you're pitching a fit over them asking for $10 a time over cosmetics, things that do not affect the game and are there as a supporter's bonus. Seriously, the words grow up come to mind.

Anyone remember that game that was going to kill For Honor? Um...Absolver. Their last patch was March last year and they are relying on making money from a new game they have in the works in order to be able to run a bugfix patch. Now yeah that is an indie company and Ubisoft is a Triple A company but still they are not going to support a game running at a loss, that's not good business sense.

I have been here since day one also, I bought the gold edition on two platforms and the rest of the season pass content on my latter one. If I like the content that is on the battle pass track, as a wage earning adult I will be more than happy to put a less than a one percent amount of a monthly wage towards supporting a game that I have played for three years to get it.

I don't understand people who can't be bothered to pay additional money for BONUS content on a game that is virtually free in every aspect. Using day one as an argument doesn't even make sense. You have had the game longer than most people yet spent less money than them because you don't buy steel or battlepasses or whatever. So who really supports the game more? People should be allowed to invest their money into the support of a game so long as it doesn't make it pay to win. Of course what i said was not directed at you. I was agreeing

I'm fine with the battlepass even though I don't personally buy into something that feels like a "forced grind." The only gripe I may have with it is if they lock a BiS execution behind that paywall. I don't care about effects or cosmetics, but there is an argument to be made about executions affecting gameplay in situations. They can offer clinch heals and confirmed kills in less time, or some even position you out of the way of minions/pikemen to help confirm the kill.

So yeah... tread carefully Ubi,.. even the slightest inkling of game mechanics being P2W triggers me into a Pavlov's dog type reaction of resentment... pretty sure I wouldn't be alone in that sentiment.

that was really my main point, i dont tend to use effects but the executions, and special armor for it to me is bs, but everyone is entitled to there own opinion in which i dont see why people respond in such a hateful manner i disagree simple as the, but ur post essentially was my reasoning for it
