Still crashing for me, I removed all files from "C:\Users\<USER>\Documents\My Games\Ghost Recon Breakpoint\PersistentStorage"

I also uninstalled and re-installed Uplay, and verified the game files.

AMD 3800X
Nvidia 2070 Super.
32 GB DDR4 RAM
Running game off of SSD.

I'm never buying an Ubisoft game for life. I'm SO ******g bitter after Div2 and this ****show.

I have also been suffering the altitude bug (Ryzen 7 2700X / RX580 8GB)
Latest update broke my frame rate and even going to low rez settings did not fix most issues or restore a playable FPS.
(I play in U-Wide resolution 3840x1080)

*** Interestingly enough setting to Windowed or Borderless instead of fullscreen returned my FPS to pre-patch numbers - WTF??? ***

It also seems to have stopped CTD at High Altitude (for now anyway)

I agree with all of the sentiment here. Ubi has seriously screwed the pooch with GRB and it will be a very looooooong time before I even think about dropping $1 on any of their titles.

Deleting the cache files lets me play for some time before it ctashes again. At least i was able to finish "Siren's call"...

I play the game since November 18.2019 and now i played over 260 hours and had never ever a game crash. Now i would like to play the Side Mission about Tovarish Pjotr locate in Silent Mountain Region and now after the big update the Terminator Mission in Silent Mountain but i cant cause the game always crash when i geht to this region. Does´nt matter how i get there. There is no way to play longer than 3 minutes in the region silent mountain. What is wrong ubisoft? I had this so much.

I forgot to mention i cleared the Documents\My Games\Ghost Recon Breakpoint\PersistentStorage\ directory. But John said he tried a clean install and the bug still there, so these tricks do not work to everybody.
This game is big... no, a large mess, a catastrophe. We just waited months without a word, and even this long-waited patch don't work to everybody. We couldn't pla for months, but as I see they do not want to offer anything. I don't expect that but I never again will buy a just released game. They would communicate at least.

I did that as well, and I tried some other tricks others have mentioned in other posts. Nothing has worked for me. I'll try the windowed mode trick I just saw because short of formatting my SSD, that's about the only thing I haven't tried. I'm not about to go to all the trouble to wipe a drive and reinstall everything just to play a game that might be the most broken game ever released.

Not sure if this is the same bug but, since the Terminator update, I have been getting frequent ctd's while taking off in helo's. This is not just around Mt Hodgson but in different locals. Tried the Uplay reinstall but that didn't work. I have managed so far to complete all the Terminator missions, so it's not just a bug affecting that, it happens on normal faction missions as well.

SILENT MOUNTAIN still crashes after update 1.1.0 for me as well; however, I was able to complete Terminator mission at the Commander Mine without incident. The rest of the map plays great on high setting but I still cannot do Ian Blake Mission or go anywhere near the Pumping Station. I've been sending crash reports religiously.
