you are most likely logged in to the wrong uplay account .. contact Ubi support to find out what account you registered your game on

Hey Dondynn! I would suggest first verifying your game.

If this doesn't resolve your issue, this means that your game is binded to another Ubisoft Account. You can try recalling the correct account you used to access the game. However, if you have forgotten. We can look into this further for you. Please create a ticket here. Feel free to let us know your ticket number as well.

If you prefer to contact via social media, you can contact us on Facebook or Twitter. Please also include your Ubisoft Account Username & e-mail address in your PM.

    I have the same problem!

The game was bought on Steam a few years ago and has been played before. I raised a support ticket, and it was escalated a couple of weeks ago. I haven't heard anything so far and I wondered if there is anything else I can do?

I only have one Steam account and one Ubisoft account. The game appears in both Steam and Uplay. So far I've tried:

    1. Verifying the game in Steam.
    2. Deleting and re-installing the game in Steam.
    3. Changing my Uplay password.
    4. Unlink then re-linking my Uplay account with Steam.
    5. Running Steam and Uplay as admin.

    Thanks!

    Hey,

You'll be logged in to the wrong Uplay account to be getting that error. I'll send you an update in your support ticket shortly so we can try and find the correct account.

    Thanks for the update!

I've added the details you asked for on the support ticket.

However, I've still got the email I created the account with, and the 'welcome to Kyrat' email which was sent to me by Ubisoft when I started playing the game. They're both to the same email address and username, and they're the same email address and username I'm using now.

The only thing that I can see has changed, is that this is a different PC to the one I originally started it on.

It was associated with another account. One which was suspiciously only created a year ago, even though I've owned the game since it's release!

I think what happened, was that Ubisoft didn't used to athenticate Steam purchased games with a Ubisoft account, even though you had to sign in.

When I first played FC4, four years ago, it was with my normal account, but Ubisoft didn't associate the two. This is why all the emails I have from Ubisoft about FC4 are to my main account.

Then when I played again last year, I'd forgotten my account email, and accidentally created a new account when prompted to log in. Ubisoft were by then associating the Steam games with the UPlay accounts, and FC4 was bound to the new one, which I didn't realise existed!

Anyway, it's all resolved now. Thanks for all your help!

    I have the same problem.

    I
I bought the game on steam a few years ago and recently started playing again when suddenly I was asked for the Uplay account, this would not be a problem but the email for that account no longer exists and although I bought the game on steam I can not do anything in order to solve it.
