    "Problem authenticating ownership of this product"

    Can't get into the game, and it's the first time the game has asked me to bind anything to my account and first time i've seen the error saying it can't authenticate the product

    Hey Ragrotesque!

    This issue normally occurs when you are signed into Uplay with the wrong Ubisoft Account that owns the game. Make sure to sign into the account that you first launched the game from Steam on. If the issue continues please let us know.

    i got that issue nobody care about my issue opened ticked 1 year ago but still its hepping and also i bought that game from steam but cant play without uplay cant understand this **** !! now cant unlink my account from that wrong account. u guys just ROBBING PEOPLE!!!!

    I am sorry to hear that you are having this issue, I can assure you we are not robbing people, this is an issue that occurs when the linked account doesn't match the account you are trying to play the game on.

    If you are having trouble with this and cannot log into the right account, and have a support ticket open, let us know.

    If you don't have one open, please do so on our website.
