Ghost Recon player, having trouble finding love for division2

Old Ghost Recon (XBOX) player here.... and playing the Division 2 (XBOX) feels like a horrible step backwards in gameplay.

Sure.... 2002 Ghost Recon is inferior in every way to The 2019 Division 2. No doubt about that. However, I am finding that I just can't digest the features of this game. Here are some items....

    1. Headshots on enemies don't result in a kill. What?
    2. Weapon stopping power is WEAK. I mean VERY WEAK. This, alone, is going to likely result in abandoning Division2. This is why I don't play Halo, Call of Duty, and a myriad of other games that take an unnatural number of rounds to fell an enemy. Is this going to SUBSTANTIALLY change as I level up?
    3. Where in the world is the ability to crouch and/or go prone?
    4. Is there a way to change "A" forcover and "B" to jump cover. I couldn't find that in settings.
    5. What is up with the lack of bullet penetration when firing on an enemy behind light enemy cover? Is this something that is going to improve after I level up? I choose a concrete barrier and my enemy chooses a wooden banister... and they are the same level of protection?
    4. Is there some way I am able to make this Division2 experience more like former Ghost Recon games, Wildlands, or Breakpoint?

Now, I understand that I can go play those other games. Fine. However, I WANT to enjoy Division2. Any ideas of how I can bridge the gap in my love for the gameplay?

Division is more RPG than simulation. Instant headshot kills without factoring gear or talents would void any reason of calling the game an RPG.

To you OP take everything you know and like about those games you play and throw it out of the window.

This game is a Looter RPG, to kill faster your gear and the talents on it is what makes you stronger (not just simple weapon damage ), unlike ghost Recon which is more a simulation OHK or CoD with Low TTK.

This game is based around stats/attributes and Talents, you have to make a build to kill faster, not just pick up a weapon and shoot.
