No way yo. Hyper armor lights, insane tracking, soft feint into grab that gives health + full stamina? I got buds that are beasts with Shugo 4v4 you just gotta know how to use em properly.Originally Posted by ChocoPanda12 Go to original post
I would say he is better but Shugo is still viable in 4v4s.Originally Posted by AmonDarkGod Go to original post
Anti gank i like my JJ, Zhanhu, Raider & Warlord. JJ would be better if his HA activated faster.
LB isn't good at anti-ganking. He's good at stalling out a gank.Originally Posted by AmonDarkGod Go to original post
The best anti-gank hero currently is probably BP.
That's kind of a strange argument to make for JJ considering he can also be interrupted out of his zone with the same amount of precision that would be required to pull off an interrupt on the flip follow up. Even at the top level people aren't simply reaction interrupting BP's flip so I can't really see the reasoning behind arguing that BP's bullwark is a bigger liability than JJ's anti-gank tools.Originally Posted by AmonDarkGod Go to original post
The very generous window for external crushing counters and BP's ability to not only cancel his recoveries with bullwark but also turn them into a punish and mixup tool makes him a more effective anti-ganker than JJ in my experience.
Came back 2 days later, was expecting this thread to be dead, but from what i gathered, he is hated because he was hated, and has decent punishes, plus a wide zone attack which most heroes have
There is no given information on why he is so good at anti ganking, but from my guesses, could be the huge zone.
So alright, he seems like a slow boi with only real potential in 4v4.
Kinda sad, was expecting him to be more fast and deadly, but in reality he just sits and parries you to deal 25
JJ is better at anti-ganking than most heroes because he has access to a 360 degree unblockable zone from a parry as well as being able to extend his i-frames after a dodge by using Sifu poise which allows him to escape and even punish certain gank setup attempts. The wide arc on most of his attacks also help in team fights, especially when target swapping his unblockable side heavies.Originally Posted by Okt0g00N Go to original post
The primary reason he is mediocre in 1v1s is because everything he does is reactable and he doesn't have an opener. His defence is however better than most because of Sifu.
So alright, he is really good because he can sifu out of combos, which i assume are pretty hard to pull of when an enemy is constantly attacking you.Originally Posted by Vakris_One Go to original post
And because of his nature of hitting everything infront of him.
Alright thanks for the feedback, ill be looking at for a time and make a post about rework hopefully bringing the 2 extremities closer
