    Why UBI, why?!?!

    Hello,

This is the first game I bought. Played the free trial before launch and loved it.
    My configuration back then:
    • I3-4150 @ 3.5GHz
    • GTX 750 Ti
    • 12 GB DDR3
    • Download Speed - 10MB/s ETHERNET
    • NAT - GREEN

A few months later, I upgraded my graphics card solely for this game:
    • GTX 750 Ti > GTX 780

Mid 2019 I a had the same configuration but a bad internet connection:
    • 10 MB/s Ethernet > 2-5MB/s WI-FI which had caused many "[...] connection has been lost [...]" events

This year I upgrade my system to:
    • I7-4790 @ 3.6GHz
    • GTX 1080 Ti
    • 1Gbit/s Ethernet
    • 12GB DDR3 [The same]

And now my NAT is RED.
In duels I'm paired with players with high ping >60.
Maybe 6months plying on bad wifi caused this but why not much eralier?

sounds like the problem might be with the ISP, from what you show you upgraded your package, did you go through the same ISP or a new one? Either way, you are going to want to check with them, and maybe even look at your home network. Have you checked to see what the threshold is for your router/modem? It seems like that might be where you are bottlenecking now since the rest of your build is now much beefier. The modem and router may not be able to keep pace with the data transfer, causing you to read red. Some modems are rated to handle lower down/up speeds because users might not need that much data transfer.

Not saying Ubisoft doesn't have their fair share of issues with this title, just saying that this one might actually be client-side as opposed to game/server-side.

I;ve been using the same ISP from 10+ years. I upgraded from 10MB/s to 125MB/s so the router speed is not an issue since its a Gigabit one. Also I set up a static IP, flushed dns, updated network driver, allowded UPnP in router settings etc. but to no avail

Ok, in the least ten years, have upgraded your router? because that is starting to sound like where your bottle back is.

My friend had a similiar issue and the solution for him was to manually open the recommended ports on his router despite UPnP being enabled.

Recommended ports are near the end of the article, hope it helps

Access your router and forward Uplay's and For Honor's ports. Setting up a static IP doesn't do anything unless you also enable DMZ, which I don't recommend. Enabling UpNP doesn't do anything to alter game NAT type on PC.

    Forwarding the ports solved it.

I previously tested with the router firewall disabled which I expected to cover this case but it seems they're unrelated.

Definitely a router issue, I'm guessing you got a new one when you upgraded to 1GB internet?

Check which ports you need open for ps4 and try that.
