So fantasy has had a great run, and it’s a cool theme with lots of tricks, but when I decide to play 9 matches and EVERYONE is using fantasy as one of their themes, I think it’s pretty obvious something needs to be done to increase deck variety.

It’s getting stale, it’s getting boring, and when you’re playing weekend card theme decks for fun and people are mowing you down with the top-meta fantasy cheese it gets kinda lame. I literally said to myself, “I’m playing a fun deck this weekend and will yield against people playing top fantasy meta.” That’s when I confirmed how much fantasy was actually being played. 9 matches, 9 decks.

I’m pretty flexible and not suggesting a particular card nerf, I just want to see more parity between the themes. Lots of things could achieve this and I honestly don’t care which way it’s done. Just PLEASE, I’m sick of running into the same fantasy decks.

Here are some suggestions:
- boost at least two other themes so they are enticing enough that I don’t see fantasy played in 90% of my matches. (Perhaps give superheroes, adventure, and mystic the same amount of good 2-cost characters as scifi and fantasy have)
- nerf gnomes so that it’s not an auto-include in 99% of fantasy decks (I see fantasy, I know this random rare card is in it)
- nerf fantasy’s defensive suite so it isn’t so incredibly hard to penetrate (**** magic, dsr, rogue token; plus three 2-cost cards to quickly respond with)

I’m not suggesting legendary nerfs because those cards are legendary and I’m all for legends being legendary. Just please do something. So tired of seeing people drop a tank or fighter and then drop gnomes after and act like they have actual skill. Thank you.
