IMO, it doesn't feel like a street race but a giant time trial with ghosted opponents. I can't explain it. I don't get a sense of real racing. Just time trials.
I get the feeling of time trials in a lot of races especially the longer ones, the ai is just rubbish. You can pass all of them in most races in seconds leaving the time trial feeling, sometimes it feels lonely out front. Shame really. The ai needs working on but it looks like it will never be fixed.
I must admit I find this game less bad than I thought it would be, I have had a lot of fun with it.I only paid 14 euros for it last month, full price is just not worth paying for this game.
FTR, my comment pertaining to most races feeling like "giant time trials with ghosted opponents" was directed at the PvP of the game; not just the in-game races with AI racers.Originally Posted by zatthealien Go to original post
Hi IVorzaYT, what issues are you having?
If technical issues, have you contacted our support team? https://ubi.li/gcmzu
Regarding the PVP mode in TC 2, probably it's still the same situation like the public PVP modes of TC 1, the moment where anyone have added atleast the 101st friend to UPLAY & every of them have played TC 2, even after downloading the open beta game-version or any of the available trial versions of TC 2 (I'm almost sure that it doesn't even matter on which platform those game version were downloaded) or even in TC 1, especially the PVP mode of TC 2 isn't working anymore.
It's still possible to find atleast 1 public pvp lobby in TC 2 (there is still only 1 pvp mode at the moment, I already know this) but after the 1st vote for the next pvp-event were made, TC 2 will definetely get a CTD-issue (crash to desktop-issue).
Sadly there is only 1 workaround for now where it's necessary remove some of your friends who exactly have played TC 2 with any of the available game versions.
And for additional additional details, it's very recommended to use & login on the Ubisoft club website where you can see all of your friends who played a game TC 2 or even TC 1 after you have chosen to display any of those games.
So every friendlist with 100 players or under 100 players will work to be able to play the pvp mode of both of the games
In general don't ask me any questions about this situations - for example: What has my friendlist got to do with the pvp mode of TC 2 / TC 1?
This is what I have found out since atleast day #1 / release of TC 2 back in summer / the 29th of June 2018.
In conclusion I want to say that this described workaround is just a temporary solution & not really a full solution for the future of TC 2, Ivory Tower & the entire UPLAY client DEV team.
So hopefully there will be a full solution somewhere in the near future for this problem-situation!
