An issue that's existed since Marching Fire is that during a match, you have a random chance to be hit with an "infinite loading screen" during the VS menu after readying up. While playing with friends or playing solo, I sometimes find myself being stuck in the VS screen just looking at my team and the other until the match ultimately ends and gives me an error. This is a persistent issue that I've noticed myself and members of the community running into more and more frequently and was wondering if Ubi has known about this issue for a while or if you guys have looked into this issue. It's especially frustrating because I spend most of my time sitting matches out instead of actually playing them. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

The issue is entirely random. I've tried to watch and see when it happens so I can find a pattern but there isn't any. When I play with friends, each match is a 50/50 on if I'll get in or have to restart the game or wait until the match is over. While playing alone, the chances of me getting a match like that is lower but still happens on random but much less than if I play with others. I'm not sure if it's because region locking was turned off for the servers (had to have been since I'm in North America and going against people ranging from Brazil to Germany to even Russia at times. (Maybe it's just a me thing).

This is certainly a strange issue and it's not one I am familiar with. I have played For Honor many times and never experienced it, so it doesn't seem to affect everyone.Originally Posted by Griffball119 Go to original post

Would it perhaps be possible to provide a video of this behaviour? I know this takes a bit of time, but a video clearly presenting the match coming to a hold would be a great start to understanding this behaviour.

Excuse the massive delay! Xbox has been having alot of core issues lately and it's made getting captures alot tougher as well as finding stable matches not the easiest. You'll find a link to a post I made showing two separate issues which somewhat revolve around the same thing down below. Hope it helps!

Thank you for the videos, Griffball119! In both cases, it does appear that some sort of connectivity issue could be occurring. If you are unable to connect to our servers, or if your connection is unstable, this could cause the issues of getting stuck in the lobby screen or disconnecting.
Have you already run through all of our connectivity troubleshooting for For Honor on Xbox One? In particular, the portforwarding section is my strongest recommendation to complete. If issues persist after that is done, please let us know.
