    Step1:
Bring in new content with Episode 3 which is ready anyhow and does not need huge reworks after launching step 2 (see below).

    Step 2:
Launch a complete rework (and thus reset) of how the gear in TD2 works. And how it drops as loot. This might (I am guessing here, only based upon the known screenshots of the new gear) force every player to completely re-farm all gear. New builds need to be built from scratch. Thus step 3 can only launch as soon as the playerbase has had enough time to do so,

    Step 3:
Launch the new Raid – with enough time between step 2 and step 3 in order to allow people to create and farm new builds and get accustomed to the new system. And as it seems this might take until mid 2020.

Personally, I would have loved to see step 2 created with the ETF and implemented instead of the interim solution around the Unique Talents. Which now on the one hand makes the ETF look like a point- and fruitless PR stunt – and on the other hand makes the re-farming because of the re-worked talents feel like a occupational therapy for the remaining players.
Oh yay and farm my builds for what the 4th freakin time now??? Honestly you hardly need proper builds to play all the content anyways. Add in 2 rolls for recall and some optimization. Instead my clan is all discussing what game to move onto because waiting so long for content is getting frustrating. We really want to play this game but there's nothing to do that has any repeatability too it. Just more story missions plus they say survival and underground wasn't actually popular?? So what will we ever get then?

    Raid update:

As many of you know, the release of our second raid "Foundry" was postponed until 2020. Yesterday's State of the Game included an update on the current development status of the raid. It's progressing nicely and our current release estimate is around mid 2020. We can't wait to see you guys take on this challenging endeavor later in the year! In the mean time, here's one of the concept art pieces that one of our talented artists produced for the raid.

The second raid was expected to launch with episode two around october, november 2019, if this new information proves to be accurate, that is a delay of six to eight months. That is an substantial delay. Also with the recent Ubisoft announcement to delay all future triple a titles and the financial troubles after the recent Ghost Recon Breakpoint debacle, maybe Ubisoft are in more trouble than anticipated?

    This is worrying.
This concern has at least no "financial troubles".

I appreciate the delay, better later than unfinished. I also watched the state-of-the-game... as often, it sounds promising, but what comes out at the end is mostly something different.

Ubi and Massive you are an utter embarrassment. I cannot in full faith recommend this game to friends despite wanting them to play so I have people to play with.

Does anyone have any numbers on this one? For example, most players I know still play the game because of the group content / of the fun we actually have while playing with friends and clan mates. This is of course also due to the lack of enjoyable solo content.

Ubi-Johan just confirmed on Reddit that despite the massive delay, the second raid will still be free to play for all players.

Well it was delayed but it was part of year 1 planned content, making that paid would be just shooting yourself in the foot and lying to everyone

    Called it: https://mobile.twitter.com/Thylander...16073438646272

    Predictions:
    - people who only play with one build are going to complain about having to farm for new gear (so they can fill those roles)
    - people who use matchmaking for discovery (assuming that's still possible) are going to complain about the difficulty, or how bad matchmaking is

That's not even the first time they've said it: https://mobile.twitter.com/TheDivisi...53850027851777

But that doesn't seem to stop some people spreading that false rumour.

    You did call it.
It's a wise move to release it after the loot reboot.
    Of course, people will complain.
It could have been handled better on the SOTG. They should have lead with it instead of loot boxes. I think the community would have handled it better if they said they want us to experience the raid with the loot reboot and other balancing changes so we will have a better experience with the raid.
