Nuxia is one of the best assassins in the game. She has a top tier offense.Originally Posted by AmonDarkGod Go to original post

- Zone has absurd range and can be feinted...or turned into a trap for damage PRETTY CLOSE TO LAWBRINGERS LIGHT PARRY PUNISH...except its from NEUTRAL.
- Best OOS pressure out of the ENTIRE ROSTER
- Traps...RESET THE CHAIN?!?!
- Once in a while, throw at them 400 milisecond lights. Maybe even two consecutive.
Who the hell cares about a deflect when you have some of the EASIEST 50/50 mixups to use in the game? The only thing that really keeps Nuxia from being straight-out S-Tier is that her traps can be interrupted but that’s pretty much it. By the way, since most of the cancer comes from her heavies, she literally has a super strong offense that is hard to punish since all kids will ever get is heavy parry punishes most of the time.
- i don’t play wulin at all but i picked up Nuxia and its just straight facts she is strong af and fun in duels. She’s okay in 4v4s but more boring there.
- the rest of the wulin faction is pretty annoying to play and fight against but i actually think nuxia is a fun character to play
Well you asked me why I don't like the Wu-Lin faction and I explained the reason; there is no point on debating someone's personal opinion because we all have different perspectives and analysis that can't be written off as simply right or wrong.Originally Posted by AmonDarkGod Go to original post
I say the Wu Lin are cheesy and clearly some players agree with me while others may disagree, so who cares if my opinion is different from yours'. You say the Tiandi is weak in duels and I still disagree with you; even your man (Freeze) made a video titled "Why Tiandi is so strong." Freeze said that Tiandi is an "immensely strong character", which seems to contradict your opinion of the Tiandi being "relatively weak." Furthermore, my comment was not even specific to just duels either.
Tandyi is pretty strong in duels despite having a 600 ms bash. The kick in particular is a very strong move that can be feinted and can guarantee top heavies against walls...and those top heavies could chain into another kick or feinted kick.
The mere fact that Tandyi can feint the kick into undodgable lights makes it just as annoying as warden or Hitokiris opener mixup.
It’s really not that hard to position yourself in the favor of the wall. Especially with Tangyi’s kit of cringey movements.
And then comes the fact that you don’t get any guardbreaks after a missed tiandi kick. People be like “TIANGYI’S KICK DOESNT GUARANTEE ANYTHING”. Don’t act like it’s the hardest thing in the world to position yourself next to a wall. Tandyi too easy to play.
Which is why the 2 new Wuliangs are going to be annoying af because I can already imagine all that crazy unnecessary kunfoo dancing
That was back during the one of the very few ever ran PTS's were used pre marching fire launch. And this was specifically because his palm strike had no GB vulnerability allowing you to stuff feint into GB mix ups on reaction, and the dodge heavies had a ton of I frames with small vulnerability. Making it a very safe tool to throw on reaction to basically anything. Tiandi was heavily nerfed for his launch with the rest of the wu-lin to make these things no longer doable.Originally Posted by Valoredramack Go to original post
You're entirely correct that you are entitled to your own opinion. But if you're going to try and cite a source (especially one you blatently trash talked for personal reasons,) at least know what you're talking about. Otherwise it's just going to give the impression that you're a troll.
No. The only two confirmed moves that still have 0ms vulnerability are gladiator's unlocked zone and nobushi's kick.Originally Posted by iiTipsy Go to original post
Not only did the devs confirm the GB vulnerability changes with his release but it has already been tested by reputable people in the community whom are known to do accurate frame checking.
Unless you have some sort of visual proof to counter what's already established to back up said claim?

All of your rhetoric about specific move sets is irrelevant because my point has not changed and you're making a counter-argument for things that I did not say.
Furthermore, I was not speaking to you in the first place-- I was responding to a specific question from a specific player about my specific opinion; so your unsolicited pomposity is just going to give the impression that you're a troll. I don't care what your opinion is about particular Tiandi moves and that is not what I was commenting about.

^ Official patch notes from Ubi. It says they buffed his I frames on his dodge heavy from 300ms to 500ms. If you watched the video you mentioned from freeze he points out the devs had stated during the time of the first test that his dodge heavies had 900ms of I frames. So in one of the two videos I showed you Freeze notes his I frames value has changed. And then we have this patch note from the devs themselves confirming what they had changed the value to and then what they buffed it to.
The thing is my post to you wasn't stating your opinion/view of Tiandi was wrong. Nor was I trying to persuade your opinion. All my post was about was explaining why Freeze initially stated Tiandi was strong back then and how a large majority of the points in said video no longer hold true due to his various changes from first test to second test. and from second test to his launch state. Essentially I was attacking the use of the dated video. Not your argument.
"Furthermore, I was not speaking to you in the first place..."
Yeah. And AmonDarkGod wasn't speaking at you in the thread where you trashed Freeze. They were speaking to Gaser. So by your logic you shouldn't have even stepped in to bash Freeze. This is a public forum and not your personal DMs. Anyone is allowed to participate in any point of the discussions being had at any time. If you wanted an exlcusive 1 on 1 then you should've took it to DM's instead of becoming flustered because someone called out your dated source of info as innacurate.
Finally my post to you didn't give my opinion on Tiandi at all. And the details I gave about said moves were to explicitly explain why they used to be strong. Which is indeed relevant because you cited Freeze's video which does talk about these things among others. Sure, I could have avoided typing the tongue and cheek part of my post pointing out the Irony of you using a source that you actually stated wasn't credible in your unwarrented rant about them. So sure, you can peg that to be troll like behavior. But that doesn't discredit the entirety of my original reply.
