I am very worried too. To date, they have not made available the promised update to correct this sad defect. Does anyone have any suggestions besides just staying on this useless forum? Some public complaint website where we may negatively expose Ubisoft. What do you think?

And that was now 3 weeks ago, but nothing happened. Thanks for nothing Ubisoft.Originally Posted by Ubi-Swaggins Go to original post
We've had multiple reports of this issue from players and forwarded these to our developers, which are currently investigating the reason for this occurrence.
At the moment, we can only ask for your patience and apologize for the inconvenience. We'll provide an update to you once we get confirmation from the developers.
Can you please stop insulting our intelligence by lying to paying customers of the DLC? This bug has existed for over a year yet you keep telling (lying) to us the developers are looking into it. They're obviously not. This is a shader related bug that could be fixed in an hour by the devs. I'm extremely irritated by this because I feel completely ripped off. I along with 3 of my friends are all experiencing this bug.
This bug totally ruins the immersion and it's amazing that the Devs don't care. Seriously, nobody at Ubisoft cares that EVERY SINGLE GAME played with the DLC is RUINED until this bug is fixed. The entire interior of the ship turns a distracting bright white at the most important parts of the game.
Big middle finger to the playerbase if you ask me. I'd encourage anyone reading this to reach out to your favorite gaming websites to cover this. I know I will be.
Good point. I'm thinking of filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission over this as well as the State Attorney General where Ubisoft's US division is domiciled. I invite everyone else to do the same if Ubisoft continues LYING instead of devoting a small amount of resources into fixing this game.
Steam and PlayStation store versions of this game have this shader bug and it was caused because devs were sloppy and Ubisoft is disinterested in fixing it, they think it's cheaper and easier to blow us off. Maybe they'll reconsider their disinterest if the gaming press and regulators start investigating if they broke consumer protection laws.
If anyone is interested in how to file a complaint with the FTC over Ubisoft violating consumer protection laws (bait and switch is illegal for example), then please go here: https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/audi...file-complaint
well after Ubisfot support stuff forwarded these to their developers for many time as it was claimed here previously by UbiDork (02-07-2020) and on steam forum by ubi-woofer another support/developer here https://steamcommunity.com/linkfilte...Player-Support (29 Sep, 2020) and nothing happened as expected from games that ubisoft has under his wings OUR community guys had to make MOD that fixes this issue...
you can find it here and maybe ubisoft will learn from this and will fix it for consoles .. maybe not
