    Unable to access ingame store.

    Hello there!

Yeah, on one hand I'm not too bothered by the fact I can't access the ingame store.

On the other hand, I do like to know what is available but the error I face is an infinite loading icon. I know there's a 'fix' for some but the one I tried to figure out didn't seem to work and I've had this issue ever since the Zhanhu's seasonal event was introduced into the game.. Hope there's a simple workaround!

    Hi Aikurisu,

Thank you for reporting this to us.

What is the step that you tried to resolve this previously?

What client are you playing the game through? Is it Steam, Uplay or the Epic Games Launcher?

    Hey Baron,

I guess it's the Steam version? Yet it still requires me to run through Uplay so the latter is the right answer?

And I wish I could remember the step I took to resolving the issue. It involved deleting some folder but I don't recall the name. Sorry I couldn't be more specific.

    Thanks for clarifying that, Aikurisu

Apologies for not being clearer, I was where the game was installed through that I was asking for. This this case that would be Steam!

if you haven't already, the first thing we'd advise is verifying the game files. This will check for missing or corrupt files and replace them, which you can do via the steps here

Well, turns out that was the problem. Verifying the game files reported that literally one file was missing and made the necessary change.

... only thing is, it seems it's something I may have to keep an eye on. The file vanished again after a session, so I had to verify the files again.

That said, at least there's a temporary solution yet it is strange this is happening...

Thanks for getting back to us, glad to hear that you were able to find a solution for that, Aikurisu.

Did it state the specific file that keeps going missing? How much space is on your current Drive?

Is there a way to find that out? Once it's verified the fix/file replacement is automatic, so it doesn't seem to give the option of knowing?

Oh, right, there's something else that may be connected. Whenever I exit out of the game the 'forhonor.exe' fails to shut down so I have to go into Windows Task Manager to manually end it in the Processes tab if I want to start the game up again. Gets annoying when I'm in the middle of a run and an error kicks me out. I can't be invited back into a party unless I restart the game completely.

The most common reason a specific game file will disappear is due to anti-virus conflicting with it, and that may have a log of the files it has quarantined / deleted.

Try making sure Windows Defender & any other anti-virus you own has whitelisted both Steam, Uplay and your game's installation folder.

If it doesn't seem to be related to anti-virus it may still be due to other software installed. Try disabling background applications and see how it goes: https://support.ubisoft.com/en-GB/faqs/000025721

Let us know how you get on
