A lot of people, me included, are getting fed up with the lack of communication.

There are so many flaws with the game right now. Matchmaking is borderline unplayable, with players having constantly high ping. There are heroes, like shinobi and centurion, who haven't been spoken about in months. It's hard to stick with a game where the dev team refuses to acknowledge the problems, and communicate that they're working on it.

This past year has been nothing but failed new heroes, and failed reworks. Either you make changes for next year, or there wont be a year 5

lack of communication because lack of team. Simple as that.

As soon as FH was released, they switched to the skeleton crew mode, relocating most of the ppl to others projects. Took them 2 months to release the first balance patch (which buffed PK xD and she stayed god mode for like 1.5 years).

Balance pacing has been painfully slow since the beginning, look how long it took them to nerf Raider. I don't even remember the last time I watched Warriors Den, they never give you anything good, just community made vids and tournament times and dates and "we're working on it" and "soon" updates to answer the most pressing concerns.

Let's hope this thursday there will be a big warrior's den with a LOT of meaty content.

The community has been craving it and is indeed getting impatient with the lack of communication and above all LACK of good content (like armor) without the "soon" answer all the time.

    • Matchmaking is a constant priority for us, as is expected for a PvP game. We keep tabs on what you're saying in the community, and internally they look at data about player sessions.
    • What Stefan said about Centurion on the Warrior's Den still applies. You guys saw the first draft of the rework and it's being worked on, which is not the same as refusing to acknowledge that Centurion has problems. The Glad and Warlord changes were much simpler to implement.
    • Shinobi I don't have any news on, but I think anyone on the dev team would acknowledge he's not in an ideal place. I'm sending the community's feedback on the hero regularly.

More details about Year 4 are coming in January, so stay tuned.

I absolutely love(d) this game, and I have faith in due time it will improve. I'm waiting to see what you guys have in store for next gen, but for now, I'm taking a break. This game needs some anti-grief measure implemented, like a bar similar to the stamina bar, dedicated to specials (unblockables; bashes included). If you limit how many times a warden can shoulder bash in a row, it may lessen the spam fest feel. Just have the bar recharge exactly like stamina does, and all unblockables consume this third bar.

Isn't this game on its 3rd or 4th year now? I'd say at this point you shouldn't expect much in the way of change, and if you really don't like how it plays, perhaps it's time to move on?

As per usual, specific dates get announced when everything's ready to go, and usually on Twitter (for example) rather than a random forum reply from yours truly.
