I and many others have been waiting for Ubisoft to form cross-play between consoles. Change is the only constant in life, and from personal experience, change is very fast in the gaming world. So I have a question, why isn't Ubisoft making cross play between other platforms possible?! I get it, companies can't just make new servers, can't create new machines and new connections, it costs money, BUT CMON! We know that we are not the only game craving to play against other plays, fairness, technologically superior, we gotta get past, I just feel like playing with other people. I feel like we can be closer if cross play just became a thing, (https://www.pcgamer.com/rainbow-six-...rossplay-soon/) we were likely to get it, we didn't. I just feel like posting this, it wasn't meant to change anything, or cause a change, just to keep it fresh, that someone, at least one, will always want to have cross-play (preferred ps4 and pc).

Between ps4 and xbox, absolutely. If they force it between PC and consoles, I'd probably never play the game again.

Crossplay isnt going to come before the Xbox Scarlett and Ps5 i gess.

It's going to happen eventually. Only reason it wouldn't would be if the coding this game is built upon is too messy to be worth trying to fix. In which they'd opt to make a relaunch of FH with a better foundation and then have that crossplay from the get go.

Its just a matter of when. not if.

It took them years just to put in a spectator camera (and they announced it like they discovered the atom), nearly a year to balance Raider, hero balances in general are rare, do you really think this long after release they will put the effort and time into crossplay?

I find it very unlikely, maybe for a sequel, but not this game. Not to mention that forced crossplay to PC would not be popular among console players, and that would be the entire reason for crossplay, PC is the platform with the weakest playerbase.

No one thought they could make the switch to dedi's. They managed it. I'm confident the devs are capable of doing whatever is needed to make FH a more sucessful game. their willingness is another matter entirely.

FH and siege are ubisoft's biggest and most popular MP related titles. So yeah, I do think FH will be crossplay with all platforms at some point. Wether it's with this current incarnation or a "reboot" called FH 2 doesn't particularly matter to me. It's the series brand i'm referring to.

Pretty sure cross play is coming with the next generation of consoles. It's inevitable and unifying the player bases make a lot of sense. Looking forward to it actually. I would then be able to play with my friends who stayed on console.

It's because if PC players were to be matched with console players, they have a big advantage over the console users. Because with a mouse, you could swipe it considerably easier, and you can change directions easily too, if they're on PC and they use a controller then that's fine but controller vs m&k is unfair.
