I have already stated multiple times that I am waiting for the Shinobi to get fixed which is why I even bother checking the forums. If you have an issue with me bringing up the Shinobi, then you have three options available on your multiple-choice logic test:
1. Wait until the Shinobi gets fixed so I no longer have a reason to bring it up the fact that the hero is trash.
2. Wait until I delete the game in Spring 2020, in which case I will no longer have a reason to post on the forums.
3. Mute my comments the same way that I mute everything that Goat_of_Vermund says.
Either way, grow up and take responsibility for the things that you choose to pay attention to, it's not difficult. This entire thread is about players who are disappointed with the state of the game and are leaving For Honor, so if you don't want want to hear people complain then why are you even reading this thread?
Asking a disgruntled player to stop complaining about their primary concern is like asking is a protester to stop protesting; such a request is completely illogical because it defeats the point of protesting in the first place, which is to spread awareness and to express dissatisfaction until a solution is reached. The only effective way to end a protest is to resolve the problem....disgruntled players are no different.
Yeah I'll probably be out of here pretty soon as well. The devs just need to let this game go gracefully and work on a For Honor 2 in my opinion. The game is like 3 years old now.
However it looks like Ubisoft wants to squeeze these dudes dry with "Premium Pass" nonsense instead.
I would suggest Mordhau if you want more Medieval Combat action.
Because writing a detailed thread on these forums is worthless. The devs aren't going to read it, let alone implement any of the ideas no matter how good they were and no matter how badly the class needs the changes.Originally Posted by AmonDarkGod Go to original post

As I have told you already on more than one occasion, I have already written a detailed analysis of the Shinobi so why should I bother doing it again when we all know that the Devs are not reading such ideas and they certainly don't respond to them. I addressed the vulnerabilities with the Shinobi even before we knew that the hero was going to get nerfed in Patch 2.11 and still none of my warnings were taken into account.Originally Posted by AmonDarkGod Go to original post
Here is a lengthy thread filled with valid evidence and factual information posted by Vee63bMech back in March 2018.
https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...-broke-Shinobi
As you can see, there was not a single occasion in which the Devs responded to the detailed evidence that Patch 2.11 broke the Shinobi. There are already countless posts about Shinobi Rework ideas and quick fixes, but there is still no feedback from the Devs on any of them. So don't bother shoveling this naive and unsubstantiated advice about how starting yet another Shinobi Rework thread is suddenly going to make a difference when you can clearly see that all of the previous Shinobi Rework threads gained zero traction with the For Honor staff.
Even Goat_of_Vermund started a Shinobi Rework thread and it accomplished absolutely nothing:
https://forums.ubisoft.com/showthrea...Shinobi-rework
Vermund is about as active on the forums as you are and even he received no feedback from the For Honor staff.
So I am not going to waste my time with a futile task.
The only time I hear from staff is when they're warning me about the forum rules. So if Ubisoft already ignores the players that are much kinder about their performance, then why would I expect them to listen to their harshest critics? They already know that the Shinobi is in garbage condition, they just need to do something about it.
I am just on these forums as a constant reminder that the ship is sinking and that the leak needs to get patched. Fix the leak and then I'll stop sounding the alarm.
2.11 broke shiniobi, You knew it kind more backs up the point I made that with 2.11 they removed the flawed propertys on shinobi.Originally Posted by Valoredramack Go to original post
Long Range Grab no longer beats Revenge Activation
This should have never been a thing to begin with.
Uninterruptible Stance:
The following Moves no longer have Uninterruptable Stance:
Backflip
Roll
Double-Dodge Kick
Kick-After-Deflect
Kick-After-Roll
Sprint Slide
Sickle Rain (including on Victim)
Super Armour made Shinobi pretty much on of the best heroes In the game at 1v1 stalling, it was so stupid most heroes could not punish most of his stuff and even worse got even punished for trying to attack him by eating almost 50 dmg trough deflects and range gb sickle raining.
Sprint Slide:
No longer beats Revenge Activation
Victim can now activate Revenge during the hit
I mean its kind easy to noticed that 2.11 pretty much only did stuff to the propertys of his attacks (exluding his slide hit frames)
It pushes the point more that Shinobis moveset is flawed to begin with and the only thing that made it good where proerptys that are unfair and flawed.
Here we go again, this time you're using the Straw Man Fallacy. I never said that Pre-Nerf Shinobi didn't need adjustments so you're making disingenuous claims to begin with.Originally Posted by AmonDarkGod Go to original post
Either way, I am focused on the current state of the Shinobi, it's pointless to talk as if the hero hasn't already been nerfed into the ground.
My issue isn't that the Shinobi was nerfed, it is that the Shinobi was nerfed excessively which crippled the hero as many people have also pointed out.
The only productive thing to do is to figure out where to go from this point forward so that the hero can be appropriately viable, I'm not here to argue for the sake of arguing. Even players who despise the Shinobi know that it's due for a rework because post-nerf Shinobi is broken in the opposite direction which is still just as bad.
Two wrongs do not make a right.
I mean did you expect anything before 2020?Originally Posted by Valoredramack Go to original post
Shinobi itself is so flawed that he needs a major rework.
Simply buffing stuff wont really help,
I already answered this comment when you said it the first time.Originally Posted by Gaser. Go to original post
I've been saying for months that the Shinobi needs a significant rework, so you don't need to pretend as if I am in disagreement.
Did I say that you are?Originally Posted by Valoredramack Go to original post
But way are we still talking, reworks take time.
Posting about it all the time wont really speed up the work.
