Nerf light attack damage or increase the overall health pool

Title says it all. We are in a light spam meta right now and to decrease how powerful it is, the damage needs to be toned down or at least increase each of the characters health pools. You've done it with Shinobi, you can do it with everyone else. If you choose to go to the light damage Nerf route, decrease all light attack damage to at least 5 to 7 depending on the speeds and weapons of certain characters such as Highlander with his slow light.

Keep block damage the same to encourage usage of heavies and mix ups.

To those who bring up the "light spam meta" I don't know what the true meta is right now and it was just something I had in my head when typing so don't go ape **** about it.

Some of you aren't understanding so let me make it simple. I AM Not complaining about light attack speeds. I AM talking about toneing down the damage of lights to make fights last a but longer and add more variety to pushing more people into throwing heavies/performing mix ups. Or just straight up increase max health pools since most light attacks these days deal 15 to 20 damage (don't correct me I'm just making numbers off the top of my head)

Meta indicates that it's something that's massively successful at all levels of play. Devs had already pointed out with data that the higher you go in skill brackets the less "light spam" works. So if it's still massively successful in your day to day experience it means you're in a low skill bracket.

I am the first one to post on FH forum this year. I use the opportunity to tell you that this is a stupid idea and you are probably very unskilled, anyone with avarage skill can easily deal with light spam, which is not the meta.

Don't have too much of an issue with light spam. And don't talk **** unless you actually fought someone for "he who talks **** is the weakest man" if you play on PlayStation hit me up CrimsonStarDrago.

I'm just putting my ideas and opinions on here just like everyone else and I've heard of more idiotic ideas than mine. In fact, at least I'm not crying Nerf to a certain characters like 90% of the community

Ever thought that maybe I'm thinking of BOTH sides of the communities? The new players and the veterans. Not everyone can parry kensei speed zones like you can bud. I think for the community, not just the "skilled"

I don't play on playstation. And even if I would, I don't see any profit playing with you. I just know for a fact that even I with my pretty avarage skills don't struggle much with light spam, you can get used to it with very little practice quickly if you want to. If you don't, you probably shouldn't play a fighting game.

Don't have a problem parrying most lights. I'm not top tier player or anything but I still know what I'm doing

A man of the people! Fighting for those poor souls that are unable to keep their guard on the side of an attack that can only come out from the same side every time.

500ms should be the maximum speed of a light attack. That's bearable, that's acceptable. With all the input delay and latency issues on consoles, results of a few calculations show, that you need to have at least an average reaction time of around 230ms to react to a 400ms fast attack, which is like 10 or 15ms below avarage. I'm getting tired of sweating my *** of just to react to stuff. It shouldn't be so difficult.

No chainlight should be slower than 466ms, unless if it has a speciális place in a mixup (like jorm's). 500ms lights are useless, especially if chained. I'm afraid if someone can not deal with those, they should not play the game. A fighting game should be balanced for the best players and for those willing to learn.
