With shinobi, the only dodge cancel that cannot be performed is backdodge into back dodge cancel. However none of the cancels work from backdodge, which goes against what is states in the moveset.

Thanks for getting in contact with us here on the forums. I am familiar with Double Dodge so I know it's not possible to cancel a back dodge; apologies if this is not clear in-game.
