What I'm getting from your last statement is if I go to a prime steakhouse and order a bone-in ribeye medium rare and it arrives at my table well-done, I should just pretend it's fine and choke down every dry, flavorless, leathery bite, then tell the waiter to give my compliments to the chef.

I'm a f***ing MRE master chef. I could even make the wheat snack bread edible. Not the cheese and veggie omelet, though. That thing was an abomination. It's good they don't subject warfighters to that poison anymore.

I would have to say that the Pork Sausage and Gravy was hands down the worst MRE. The consistancy and texture was like slurping a bag of chunky snot not to mention the lack of flavor. I would rather forgo a meal in the field than suffer through that edible bile. Lol

I think that one was either before or after my time. I also absolutely detested the beef patty. Smelled like canned dog food. Blegh.
