So far the best thing is having a break from the game and being less pi**ed off.

    Save 1
I play in a manner consistent with how I would expect a Spec-Ops soldier to conduct the mission based on the ones I knew personally when I was active duty.(Eliminate Snipers, destroy generator, eliminate Heavy Gunners/Turrets and or Mortars, Don't be where they're looking for me)

    Save 2
I play this one based on exactly how I would do things based on how I was trained when I was on active duty (Airborne Infantry 8+yrs). Though I was not in Special Forces I did conduct training with some of our Spec-Ops guys and was given some really solid training by them. (Shoot and Scoot, Fight from cover, Use whatever I can to gain an advantage)

    Save 3
I attempt to maintain stealth at all costs, even going so far as to sneak in and abduct Sentinel Commanders, moving them off into the wood line to question or kill them. I try to kill as few enemies as possible and go unnoticed. (Think Splinter Cell)
I have kept my original character I played through the campaign. That is my "operator" - GS about 170 I think now (correction ha only 127 goes to show how much I care), but I only mess with that one occasionally.

My second slot was a playthrough with just a single primary to see if I could do it. I was at a GS of about 40 I think but once I was shown that I could remove a primary weapon, I did that with my slot 1 character and slot 2 was sacrificed for the story of Seamus Murphy - now GS of 3

Slot 3 was my first homesteader character Niko - GS of 4

Slot 2 and 3 I have not selected a class and have no access to skill tree. Honestly the best fun I have had with the game, but it is limiting in getting access to things like rockets.

The best part of Breakpoint is that it's so bad that any ideas you have look good by comparison.

I just found the best part. When you get sick of someone's s**t you can express your anger. - like Yuma showing up at the very last destination in that mission as if she knew all along where you were gonna end up.. I plugged her. She can still talk despite being dead if I need to ask anything, but for now she paid the price for jerking my chain.

    Yes.

In play style 1: I try to be very analytical, use. c-4. And mines to distract. I'll snipe and displace, repeatedly, never shooting from one location more than twice. I typically look for the weakest point in the defenses and exploit it. I try to plan my approach to the objective with the best cover and concealment possible. I try to stay quiet, fast and deliberate.

Playstyle 2. I'll analyze METT-C. Deploying to the AO by Airborne Assault or Air Assault 1-2k from my objective almost always at night. Infil to the area eliminating threats along the way. Utilize my drones once I get there to take down key assets like heavies, snipers or cdr's. Once the alarm goes out, I assault through the area using fire and maneuver until mission complete. This tends to be a more aggressive playstyle.

Ok got it thanks. Cool. I like it. The first one is my normal play style, more silent and methodical around the periphery. The 2nd one is something I’ve tried more recently and really enjoy... aggressive and fast. It worked particularly well in Wildlands once I started using my AI squad to push up. When you’re solo, you really have to watch you don’t get in too deep and have a route to back off if you do get overextended.
