I need some tips against Zhanhu, can't really put my time in game to look it for myself since i have work, college, and the condition of the game right now is giving me more stress than fun when i face against other players since it is so monotone when fighting against fellow humans unlike bots, specifically level 3 bots.

Go into training, learn the two finisher parry timings, learn zone attack parry timing. Now, focus on getting parry timing for his dodge attack on read. You will be wrong 50% of the time and take 14 damage. When you are right, you get your specific light punish.

Now you needn't animation parry his finishers, guess one timing and hope your guess is right. Normally, you should already beat the majority of Zhanhu players because of his mediocre damage output.

Of course, he can feint his mix up into guardbreak, but he has no hyperarmor. So you can always go for a light, a bash or a hyperarmor move, whatever might beat his gb.


So overall, Zhanhu has very few options, should be easy to counter him with a little practice.
Nevertheless, I expect him to be buffed. So things might change. Some when, in 2020. Maybe. Hopefully.

Use a hero with a decently fast zone and use it as an option select whenever you see an unblockable from zhanhu

Just tried it and i would say it is easier to have a faster zone but because i am a centurion main then i have to go to training mode and try parrying, just a question though, is Zhanhu always have braindead playstyle cause i only see people using only his dodge attacks and lights
