and yet every time I stick my head in the DZ within moments of engaging a landmark I get the "player has gone rogue","a rogue agent is nearby" message.. :POriginally Posted by OldCappy Go to original post
Year 1 content has been awful. Biggest content all year didn't have match making (raid). No balancing has ever been done to pvp. Pvp shotgun booster in a duck and cover game. Shotgun armour meta pushed on us from development team. Invisible walls still present all over after last patch. 3 minute loading screens. Items I bought in ultimate edition have dissapeared, Yes. Vanished. Always being told that I'm playing the game wrong from dev teams. Be more tactical. Slow down etc etc... Bugs and glitches are never fixed and content is dumped on top. Can anybody tell me of any other game out there that is as buggy as this one as I've just gone and bought call of duty and that game glides. It has reminded me of what to expect from a triple a game. Wow. Shame on you ubi....
Off course. But the question is, how deep will it (the quality of the content) have an impact as a gamechanger? I think the new content should be free - after the year 1 desaster, and MASSIVE should really listen carefully to those who are still there. Apart from that, being brave and innovative should be also a priority (in relation of content). It's a shame how the potential of The Division 2 was wasted just in a few months after it went live.Originally Posted by fetito666 Go to original post
Thank you, looks like MASSIVE's still fixing his game.Originally Posted by UbiAmper Go to original post
Last but not least, merry christmas to everybody! Hopefully Santa will drop some good ideas too for the next year under the christmas-tree of MASSIVE.
Haven't played in 3 or 4 months now, year 2 has to be something good even if it's paid, and what I mean is substantial Content missions, new area's, heck gear/weapons, i'm currently still back on Destiny 2 the seasons are pretty good it costs £8.00 which isn't a bad amount and you get some good stuff, activities also weapons and armour (all can be got if you don't buy the season pass though) on top of that the free dawning event gives you stuff to do includes weapons as well.
To be honest I want to come back and play but year 2's content has to be worth it. not just the odd mission, there needs to be a new area of the map also incursion/strike like content, missions/story content, new characters/vendors etc etc etc.
Me too... As you said, the pass is not essential, but it really rewards your progression and is meaningful designed. Honestly there are so much activities that it's not possible for me to cover them all. Shadowkeep is from my point of view the best additional content so far, even when I prefer the blind well.Originally Posted by Cadillac-Jack Go to original post
Again about the actual Season Pass, Julian - the Julian -, likes Destiny 2. I would appreciate if he would take some inspiration of it, and transform it into The Division 2. The pass, activated, acts supportive with gear, exotics, materials, buffs and so on for the player. The system simply makes sense.
I'd imagine there will be some updates coming. Now some may be in a free patch however any new content other then raid which was delayed and should be free will be dlc paid content. Don't expect a ton of free stuff in yr 2. This is typically where you start to see dlcs dropped. Probably see a gear score increase as well. Its doubtful yr 2 content does very well. Massive and ubisoft reputations are not very good. Personally I'd like to see better content to get me back but just going off history it will most likely be crap and temporary fix with overall numbers continuing to slide in to the toilet. Td2 will ultimately end up a sorry excuse of a sequel. The concept of the division series was a great one. The detail of NY and DC are some of the best I have played. The mechanics and gameplay are some of the worst. And massive is crap. Not to mention the constant annoying bugs and cheats on pc. I don't see how td2 recovers its player base. It's a solid pve game for a few hundred hrs. After that same ole same ole. I raided a dozen or so times and no eb. And who really cares?
Lesson is don't buy massive games early or at launch, wait 6 months and get it on sale for 90% off.
