Ghost Recon has been made to simulate a realistic game and it has, with some problems. So so so many people do MilSim on Breakpoint because of its tactics, gameplay, and beauty. The problem is, gear score and needing a second primary ruins that. Realistically, a soldier cannot carry two .50 Caliber snipers on their dang back. It ruins Realism. The gear score also adds to that because a boonie hat could add more protection then a Military helmet. It makes no sense. So my suggestion is that when gear score is removed, make it so players have the ability to carry only one primary and a pistol since it won't cause a gear score drop if it is removed. Thank you. I better see this in the next update.

There should be an option to dequip any weapon slot, knife included.Originally Posted by secretzrus Go to original post
There is room in the game to ignore all the crap, you just have to take those steps yourself. The issue becomes if you want to raid or PVP. I currently have one game slot that I refuse so far to even choose a character class. Scrap everything you vacuum up and just keep going. My GS is 4, currently exp lvl 7.
I totally agree. In the mean time, there are ways you can add realism on your own as Steven says. You can choose to ignore the tiered loot which both him and I are currently doing. We have characters with with only a single primary and gear score of 4. No buffs from skills or a hat or anything else. It's actually a liberating and refreshing way to play the game. Give it a try if you're looking for more immersive realism.Originally Posted by Lasaii Go to original post
just play for fun, for atmosphere. This is true for those who love military equipment, weapons and clothing, generally interested in military topics. But because people want to live in peace, and basically no one wants to die in a war for other people's interests, then people like to entertain themselves in this way. Airsoft, ARMA, G. R., etc. just play the role of military soldiers. Not worn on the map with two huge sniper rifles behind him in a Scottish kilt and white gloves with a tattoo of roses on the shoulder, but on the contrary to do more meaningful things that will look realistic in the first place visually, and only then effectively. But in fact, this is not the stupidity of people, but a sign of a bad game. Players have to create difficulties for themselves and earn extra money as game designers instead of the company and x workers who sold this game to them. If you notice the all game and ' on various exhibitions represented precisely in such a atmospheric format with otygryshom role, but themselves game on release it seems on full ****. Forgive my English.Originally Posted by AzraelWilliams Go to original post![]()
If you do not understand what I'm talking about, then I would suggest you watch this video. It perfectly demonstrates what people want from the game in this style.

What about magical gear score numbers, superhuman abilities, and bullet-sponge MMO mechanics? Those are all completely NOT make-believe and fantasy elements in a game that has billed itself as an authentic special operations experience.Originally Posted by AzraelWilliams Go to original post
