"Double your total holiday tickets". I thought that meant my total tickets for the event would be at 10 up from 5.

No only the new Elf Costume doubles your tickets for this event.

Double your x tickets
Double your holiday tickets
Double your stunt tickets

They are running out on names... So they called the discription of some Costumes twice like Bad Bone Sr. and the Elf.
Its all about money making. I haven´t seen them use a Costume multiple times to give you a benefit. Exept from the midnight circuit and the bunker ones.
