    Bot Problems

This is going to sound ridiculous, I'm sure, but the bots I'm being put against are just too easy. I broke my back at work last year and sustained severe damage to the nerves in my arms and hands. Compared to before, they hardly function. As you can imagine, it makes PvP virtually impossible for me unless I'm facing almost brand new players. A friend of mine after several months convinced me to try a PvP match with him instead of fighting against bots like I normally do, and I got absolutely destroyed since I can't parry or block quick enough to handle most people anymore. After the immense **** talk they gave me for being over rep 50 and losing so badly, I decided to go back to bots. Since that single loss, I've exclusively been put in bot matches allied with and against level 1 bots. This is not fun as it feels like a perpetual tutorial. Recently there was an update which started giving me level 2-3 ally bots against level 1 bots. I had a friend join me for a match and we stood at the spawn point for the whole match to see how well the 2 ally bots would do on their own and we ended up winning the match by over 700 points. It isn't fun to be entirely superfluous, and I haven't enjoyed playing a single match since this all happened. I love the game and I've been playing since the beta with over 1,400 hours invested into it and I'd hate to stop playing because I lost a single match, but the bot matches aren't fun for me in the slightest. The only time it's even a slight challenge is when somehow all 3 of my allies die and I end up having to fight all 4 bots by myself. Even then, it's only hard because of my nerve damage and shaky hands. I'd love it if there was a way you could pump me up to having level 2 bots in the matches, both allies and enemies. I almost exclusively play solo AI without matchmaking nowadays anyway. I have 0 interest in returning to PvP and plaguing people with an ally that can't fight efficiently or help them. If any devs can help me I'd really appreciate it, otherwise I just gotta stop playing.

damn... how unfortunate, is it permanent or will you recover, if not, best luck to you man that really sucks and i hope it gets at least a bit better.
hope they do something about it, if not, then shame on them since custom games don't award exp.

also how did you break your back must be a hard job or a really brutal mistake, hope your nervous system doesn't act like ubisoft and actually repairs it self.

I used to work as a truck unloader and was doing 10-12 hour shifts daily for 3 months and 2 weeks. I kept asking for a day off to go to the doctor because my back pain was getting so bad, they kept saying no and telling me they'd give my promotion to someone else if I took a day off. One day during unload my back gave out and my spinal chord got crushed between 2 vertebrae when a disc exploded and my right leg stopped working. Workman's comp denied my claim, saying it wasn't work related, so they fired me and I had to wait almost 6 months with a compressed spinal chord before I could get new insurance and have my surgery. I won't recover beyond where I'm at now, but I've gotten a lot better since the surgery in late January. I'm not in a wheelchair anymore, which is nice, but playing video games has (as well as most other things) has gotten harder, though. I'm hoping they'll fix the bots for me, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up.

You can affect AI levels in PvAI through PvP, and it's unfortunately the only way to do so. Your MMR determines the bot difficulty. If you're currently at level 1's, you have to win some matches to pump them up. Note that Dominion has a seperate MMR table from Breach, and obviously from Duels (which has a shared MMR with Brawls), so succeeding in having level 2's in Dominion won't carry over to Breach as well.

The number of wins you need to get upgraded AI isn't large. I suggest loading a PvAI match every time you win a PvP one and seeing if they are level 2 yet. When they are, simply stop playing PvP and they'll remain like that forever, or at least until Ubisoft decides to reset everyone's MMR again.

All in all, if you want those level 2's, you'll have to rely on teammates to kind of carry you. In Dominion and especially Breach, it isn't too difficult to avoid combat and focus on objectives. Capture a zone, camp it for renown, as soon as someone comes run away, clear B/kill pikemen or capture another zone, etc. That should make you a useful enough ally. As for Duels, if you're really unable to win against any opponent on your own, you'll have to jump into Brawls and fully rely on your partner to carry. If you're on PC, I could help with that.

    Good luck.
